I really hope she gets the #1 album. She deserves it so much! I prefer High Expectations to this album. But it is a solid, enjoyable pop album. LOL is my favourite track from it at the moment.

She could have had a stronger album if she stopped tagging songs onto HE!

I think most people preferred her Finders Keepers - Fine Line sound to this generic pop!

She had a sound and left it! So did many of her fans!

Ordered a couple of things.

I think she’ll chart at 3 but £5.99 for the signed Amazon is a bargain!

Also ordered the signed personalised vinyl.

I bought this on CD on Saturday, for full price - one day I will learn to wait a few days...

I also cherry picked a couple of the Apple Music bonus tracks on iTunes - the Toxic cover and the Calm String version of Crying On The Dance Floor.

Anyway, it's a solid album. I agree that the singles chosen have been a little weak considering what's on the album - I really like Crying On The Dance Floor and I Love Your Girl, both have great melodies and production. LOL is infectious and very well produced too.

The end of the album is really solid in fact, but the first half is a little generic in places. I always have and still really enjoy Let Me Know though, I wish that had been bigger for her.

It’s interesting the direction she has gone in from when she started - isn’t this what Raye complained about when she left the same label (Polydor) that they were pushing her in the direction of a pop star? Seems like they have done the same with Mabel.

It’s a decent pop album and I’m enjoying it - but she seems to have gone from cool to Ava Max.

It is getting frustrating that people who pre orders who but the album on release day often end up paying way more than those who buy it later in the week.

It’s the way of the world now not just music.

Companies are ahead of the time, like now all the summer stuff is reduced everywhere (Yet now is when we’re using it)

It’s annoying, no such thing as January sales either most usually start before Christmas!

Looks like Mabel is being managed by Dua’s old management now (TAP Music and Ben Mawson)

Was that when she was just with her first album? They were pretty decent from what I remember.

I think if this album does go to #1, she will at least be signed on for more and hopefully label will see potential in her.

They managed Dua for both self titled and Future Nostalgia eras. Dua left them before the release of Sweetest Pie I think

So they could've stopped her from doing 'Sweetest Pie' and 'Potion'?!

But has there been an official announcement she's with Tap? cos Tap actually do manage Neneh Cherry

so if they just liked a twitter from Mabel, maybe it was just them being nice to their client's daughter :D but who knows

Tap are listed as her management for her recent music video but unsure why they can’t announce it? Maybe they’re just waiting until after the album rollout is done

i’ll still never understand why dua left them

Something to do with song writing credits was the rumour

She/her team really missed a trick not discounting vinyl. I would have bought the pink signed variant / bundle if either had been reduced enough to warrant getting them.
I think she does stand a relatively small chance of #1 still, she and a lot of celebs have helped push for it today - and her exclusive signed only went out today so she might see a last minute big boost.
Disappointing outcome in Ireland, debuts at 39, i expected way more as high expectations went top 5 here and done really well.
