I’ve said this before but I think it’s the three consecutive weeks rule that silly and it should just be something like when you drop below 80% or 85% of your peak streams and you’ve had more than 9 weeks you go to ACR. There have been cases where it’s felt like a song has gone too soon after three very tiny declines, as well as where songs have hung around too long by having two big declines followed by a level week.

I think this could work. It's a more sweeping change than I suggested (which was basically just replacing 0% or the market in the existing rules with +2.5% or the market) and I wonder whether there needs to be something market-related for when something peaks in streams on a particularly high or low week, also I'm not sure how it would work with resets (particularly the likes of Do It To It), but it's probably still an improvement on the current situation.

Yeah they could say 85% both absolute and market adjusted. Re-sets would be something like if you climb back above 90% of

your peak streams. You should only need a re-set if you’re in contention for a new peak position anyway.

Not sure, but last week it was down by 4.12% and I'd be surprised if it fell again this week.

I don't care about those two tracks to be honest. Also, their best chance to reach top ten was the week when #10 sold less than 20k. The competition in general is tougher now.

Top 10 clear-out probably won’t be happening to the extent people hoped then, but actually the Top 5 is relatively fresh now anyway with Harry, Jack, Dave, Aitch and Cat. I can’t say I’m that bothered about Peru swerving, and it’s not like George and Tiesto can really complain about missing the Top 10 at the moment as they haven’t even done 20k in a single week.

Really wish The Motto and George could go top 10 mostly cos Spotify has given it very little/late/bad support

If only they had been given the same support on HH as Lost Frequencies or Peru they would have been top 10 or higher for certain
