Posted April 4, 20223 yr @1510987495479119882 Jade took part in a recent podcast with Charli XCX, the main things said: • She revealed she’s currently preparing for tour • Jade reveals she’s nervous as it’s been so long since they’ve performed in front of a big crowd. • She hopes when her and the girls take a break that there will be another huge British girl band. • Jade said when she went to Italy with her bf Jordan it was the start of when the girls started talking about the group ‘coming to an end’ and doing their own thing. She said it was really scary but that trip helped her cope with the change that was happening • Jade feels she’s in a limbo stage right now, she’s really happy with her personal life and how close she is with the girls but there is a lot of change as the girls are taking a ‘big break’ and she’s like ‘what now?’ but she says that is exciting at the same time. • She reveals it was a highlight of her career to be on the cover of ‘Gay Times’ magazine cover. • Talks about trying her best to be an LGBTQ+ ally. • Jade said she knew Little Mix was going to be ‘big’ when they got together as it felt so special. • Jade says the best Little Mix song is ‘Touch’. • Jade says the girls were originally unhappy about the Touch music video • Jade’s favourite Girl bands: The Supremes, Spice Girls and All Saints
April 4, 20223 yr This break is definitely turning into a proper hiatus. I’m not actually sure if we’ll ever get a hit single again - I can see it being a reunion tour (with a potential album but more of a steps style scenario) I really don’t want them to go, I hope they see sense and decide to reunite in a couple of years (because they hate being without each other) haha

I’m absolutely gutted. I agree ‘coming to an end’ sounds way more definite than a short break. Perhaps they won’t ever return, that could definitely be a possibility if the girls have successful solo careers or decide they are much happier outside of LM. I have a feeling this is the end of a successful girlband for some time now, I can’t see how a girlband will be able to break through In the current market...There’s just no platform. Pretty devastated, nothing lasts forever but I genuinely thought they’d continue as a three for a few more years at least to prove a point! Haha.

Backstreet boys as well, and some other male bands. Some of these bands' members still do their own solo stuff (including music) I actually did think LM would be like Ant and Dec, particularly when The Search was announced.

It’s a shame they couldn’t of continued Little Mix and had solo attempts alongside (features etc..) They were the last remaining girlband really which I feel was more of a reason to continue too...They could have had a fair few more records under their belt tbh even if they weren’t having huge hits (another summer feature etc) Still, happiness is most important and it’s fairly obviously Perrie and Leigh wanted out for the time being (at least that’s how it comes across). Come on. :lol: They'll all get a cute hit each, have success doing something non-music related (TV personality/Radio/Fashion/Acting) then they'll come back for their big reunion tour. Every single group in history (besides The Saturdays :lol:) have came back and half of them never had the close band these girls had.

Every single group in history (besides The Saturdays :lol:) have came back and half of them never had the close band these girls had. It's actually interesting that the girl groups with the closest bonds seem to be the ones that never re-unite formally. The Saturdays, Destiny's Child. The universe is often ironic about things.

April 5, 20223 yr ^ pregnancies aren't that simple. As if they would plan to announce pregnancies the dates the tour was meant to start and intentionally delay the break so extensively. It seems the original timeline was confetti...4 or 5 singles. Tour. Greatest hits. Split at end of 2021.
April 5, 20223 yr I can see why the girls were annoyed at Jesy then. Obviously her mental health was an issue but was in calculated in terms of going solo before the other girls did (management could have potentially influenced this?)
