Glitter and Gold one of many standouts from Tears on the Dancefloor.

It's easy enough to forget about some album tracks and sometimes i find when I revisit album tracks my opinion can change although with glitter and gold I always liked it and still do.

Unlucky for some… at 13 we have…

 

13. Deeper Shade of Blue

 

 

An iconic dance routine, an iconic song and an iconic video… I’d like to say it was my gay awakening but I think it was still slightly too early for me! Anyway I’ve decided to include the WTFH tour video as opposed to the normal video as promotion for the live dvd! You’re welcome :)

Another surprise deeper shade of blue not top 10, good song, its probably a borderline situation for me whether it would be in my own top 10 or not.

Two great selections.

 

Glitter & Gold is a great track, a favourite upon hear the album.

 

Deeper Shade Of Blue out this early is a bit of a shock, but I'm loving that your countdown has shaken things up.

And he continues to bring the surprises!

 

12. Tragedy!

 

 

I honestly love Tragedy but this placement makes it seem like I really don’t! Everything about this song, video and performance just makes me smile! The only negative to me is that it’s so obviously their signature song, I find it very overplayed now (see also 5,6,78!) But this is starting to beg the question… what exactly is in the top ten?!

11. What the Future Holds.

 

 

There are two pieces of info that Lisa Scott Lee likes to keep to herself. One is that she’s from Dubai and the other is that Sia wrote this track! I know, I can’t believe it myself!

 

This was another strong return by Steps but they have recorded and released stronger since they reunited in 2017. Some of which are still to come in my top ten!!

What the future holds I love, it's right up there with my fave steps songs and I prefer it slightly to scared of the dark which is also brilliant.

Sorry I i’ve missed so many, you’ve went through it really fast! some great (and interesting) choices, look forward to the top 10

Tragedy is another Steps classic! A few years ago I didn’t enjoy it that much (probably overplayed it) but now I’m back on the Tragedy train :heart:

I love every song so far :wub: I guess that many fans wouldn’t include Tragedy in their lists, but I’m glad you rank it highly and I would too! I’ve been to many concerts of different artists and Steps performing Tragedy is one of the most euphoric tour moments… it’s always special and the atmosphere is insane!

Ya tragedy is huge on the tours,, it's not my fave from them but I do like it.

Tragedy is an iconic part of Steps history.

10. Here & Now

 

 

I loved that the band opened the Ultimate tour with Here and Now and I was convinced they would pay it dust on the WTFH tour and really did expect it to be missing when they did their fake finish! Imagine my surprise when they burst back on to stage singing this! Much much better than You’ll Be Sorry (sorry not sorry, pun intended!)

 

 

Here and now is good, I enjoy it and I like it but not in a best 10 steps songs way.

I enjoy Here & Now, I loved the video back in the day too.

HAN is very enjoyable but not too 10 material for me ;)

Here and Now, not their most memorable single as they have so many but I like it.

Sometimes I forget about it.
