This whole festival has been cancelled, all 6 dates due to low ticket sales.

Must put Mel in a bit if a shit position as the other 5 dates in OZ probably don't warrant going now but she would probably lose money to pull out of them. Would be ok if they were close together but they are like 2 weeks apart from 1st to last so that is flights and two weeks accomdation for just the 5 gigs.

I received a reply by someone claiming to be Mel C (with 1 like, 6 followers), with a white tick on a blue icon on Facebook, in response to a comment I posted on Mel C's official page.

Anyway their reply is: (to my name): "Thank you for your love and your comment, my dear fan, please send me a direct message 🥂❤️"

My comment (before their reply) was: " No, Hobart. I am unavailable anyway due to study commitments."

Surely, that reply post is not from the real Melanie C.

- Should I ignore the replied comment, or send this person a message?

I noticed recently after I posted a comment on the Spice Girls official Facebook page (a greeting for Emma's birthday), that soon after I received a reaction (love heart) from someone using the name Victoria Beckham (76 likes, 77 followers).

- But there was no blue circle icon with a white tick to verify that poster's identity.

I thought celebrities using social media accounts usually don't post or send comments or emoji reactions to their fans comments on posts.

So proud of Melanie last night she had Blenheim palace rocking!!

Set list from Blenheim:

1. Anymore

2. Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)

3. Never Be the Same Again

4. Northern Star

5. Blame It on Me

6. Overload

7. Touch Me

8. Goin' Down / Ga Ga

9. When You're Gone

10. Say You'll Be There

11. Spice Up Your Life

12. 2 Become 1

13. Who Do You Think You Are

14. I Turn to You

Mel was so fantastic at Blenheim Palace. She had the smallest band but she put in so much energy and was so engaged with the audience that she stole the show a bit for me? Even her vocals were more on point than other times, hitting high notes she sometimes struggles with.

I know that the whole story of accepting her Sporty persona sounds a bit of PR for her last projects, but she truly felt wildly different to the Melanie C pop-rock singer from pre-2019. It was so good seeing her enjoying like that. She said on Instagram it had been one of her favourite gigs and having been there I can believe that.
