I couldn't remember but in a way was hoping no so that I could at least think the signing would be a sales boost on opening sales.

The more the btter, they are great for sales but they are also a great way for fans to meet them and for those who do its something special and a memory to treasure.

Ya I think they could really capitalise way more on it. Its incredible to think they have recorded/released more material since they reformed than when originally together, and hopefully plenty more to come.

Probably because we remember them on our holidays to the seaside. When I was a child and going to the caravan in Scarborough you could put a dead cert bet on that Steps would be played at the social club… 5678, Tragedy and One for sorry were dance floor staples. Same in places like Blackpool and other holiday places up North. There is a lot of fondness for them.

I saw Pete Waterman on Piers Morgan it was a repeat and when they talked about music he said Steps brought in more money than acts such as Kylie, Bananarama, Rick Astley etc.
