Posted April 23, 20223 yr Post Malone's fourth album 'Twelve Carat Toothache' is rumoured to release next month, and last night on Instagram he played clips of some of the tracks! The ones featured were: Happy (feat. Doja Cat) Wasting Angels (feat. The Kid LAROI) Wrapped Around Your Finger A Love Hate Letter to Alcohol Couped Up (feat. Roddy Ricch) Based on the brief clips, I'd guess that 'Wrapped Around Your Finger' and 'Happy' will be the big hits if they're pushed!
April 23, 20223 yr I feel like the buzz around him has declined a bit now so not sure if he's likely to get anything close to a 'rockstar' or 'Circles' level hit from this album but still looking forward to what he has to offer - 'One Right Now' did grow on me a fair bit and I liked 'Motley Crew' too, neither are exactly among his best though so hopefully he has some better stuff to come.
April 24, 20223 yr Author 'A Love Hate Letter to Alcohol' apparently features Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes!
April 25, 20223 yr I feel like the buzz around him has declined a bit now so not sure if he's likely to get anything close to a 'rockstar' or 'Circles' level hit from this album but still looking forward to what he has to offer - 'One Right Now' did grow on me a fair bit and I liked 'Motley Crew' too, neither are exactly among his best though so hopefully he has some better stuff to come. not in the US... his track with The Weeknd has clung around the top 20 of the Billboard Top 20 for about 6 months now?
April 25, 20223 yr Which is not exactly 'rockstar'/'Circles' level success x (also it's been pretty heavily carried by radio I think)
April 26, 20223 yr Yeah, his buzz has definitely declined here to some extent. That said, 'Motley Crew' and 'One Right Now' both ended up really growing on me so I'll remain hopeful for some more quality tracks on this album.
May 11, 20223 yr i dunno how a song floating around the top 20 for 5 months suggests someone has lost their hype? but ok...
May 12, 20223 yr ...because his big singles from previous eras did way better? I'm not sure what's hard to understand about that? I didn't say no one cares about him at all any more, but his star has very obviously faded a bit from the highs of the last two eras.
May 12, 20223 yr i think we can just agree to disagree that anyone with the capabilities of maintaining a top 20 hit for 5 months has lost their star. I would agree if you were talking about say... Lorde Edited May 12, 20223 yr by dannjohn
May 12, 20223 yr Author ‘Cooped Up’ is out now. It’s alright but pretty dull. Post has definitely lost some of his star over the last couple of years though, ‘One Right Now’ has been largely held up by radio and even still it didn’t come close to the singles from his last album. and Motley Crue last year completely flopped too.
May 13, 20223 yr With Kendrick releasing and ESC tomorrow, this is going to bomb so hard this week. Whether it recovers later is interesting to see.
May 13, 20223 yr I think he won't flop, he's got plenty of playlist support, insta-added into the top 20 on HH also high on TTH, #2 on RapCaviar
May 20, 20223 yr Author Post Malone has covered the Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers theme tune for the new movie, and it's out today! Way better than his actual single  FFogD2YypF0
