That's pretty muted response on AM (apart from Sam of course). I'm sure songs will fare better on Spotify tomorrow though.

Sam now #2 on Amazon - even with a bunch of songs missing from their daily chart (most notably About Damn Time and Go), that's very promising!

^ In the same chart, Subwoolfer are #35, but can't see any other Eurovision songs in the top 200 from a quick skim. You'll Never Walk Alone is #26 (there was another big event yesterday).

Nathan/Ella is #1 on the Summer Hits UK playlist, Big Energy is also high on Summer Hits, I think that’s how both are doing well without Hot Hits.

You'll Never Walk Alone football related due to Liverpool winning the FA Cup.

2 more Eurovision songs in the Apple top 100 now, Subwoolfer at #90 (lol) and Kalush Orchestra at #99. Rooting for Kalush to go top 40 but happy enough if they can get anywhere in the top 100, would make it 2 Ukrainian language entries charting in a row, and the third Ukrainian language top 100 hit in the last year in all including that Pink Floyd track.

 

I was thinking this seemed a little muted as well but had forgotten how relatively slowly the songs impacted on Apple last year, I guess they might do better on Spotify then.

 

Kendrick still having 4 of the top 10 on Spotify for his second day is not bad - nice to see 'United In Grief' still in his top 3 for now too although indeed already falling behind 'Die Hard' and 'N95' as I predicted.

Oh great to see Sam doing so well on Apple. And maybe it'll become a real hit rather than just a one week wonder.

I see that 'go' (fka 'Go') by Cat Burns has been having its title decapitalised across all platforms across the last few days - I first noticed it in the embedded YouTube video in the chart show thread the other day, then noticed it being changed on iTunes/Apple yesterday, and it's now been changed on Spotify as well. Very necessary change :')

Wow! That’s mad! Everything was building up to this all along, but it doesn’t feel real that the UK has properly loved its own entry. This looks like it will be the biggest selling UK entry since Gina G, unless it tails off quickly, not sure what Katrina and Precious’ total sales are mind.
