...OK so Harry's House 'only' managed 45,388 from streaming sales in the end - that's still more than Adele's 30 got in its opening week, and behind only Ed's Divide (in weeks 1 & 2) and No. 6 Collaborations Project, and Drake's Scorpion.

 

I think it was incorrect to assume Harry had a higher proportion of streams from outside Spotify than Drake did, as Drake historically does very well on Apple. (Also Harry's chart domination on Spotify was bigger than it was on Apple).

 

I was thinking he wasn't likely to hit 50k at the rate he had been increasing between the Monday and Wednesday updates, ~46k was pretty much what he was projected for I think. Which is still fantastic of course. But it still leaves Ed's first week numbers with '÷' in a league of their own, kind of hard to imagine that record is being broken any time soon.

Lady Gaga up +77 places on Apple Music.

 

Went to see Top Gun Maverick earlier and I can see why. Hope it continues climbing.

The positions/movements outside the top 100 on Kworb are completely broken - it doesn't look like it's actually risen that much, it's currently #37 on the Apple Music pop chart compared to being #43 the day before the film came out (although it was #55 the day before that).

I don’t think it’s too surprising. I haven’t seen the film but I assume Gaga’s song is just played over the credits? People will be leaving then.

It's climbing on AM and Amazon. Maybe the Spotify users in the UK aren't that interested in the film in general and too busy scrolling Tiktok :P
