I've been a back to you fan since the day I heard it,, I know others dint rate it as high but its a big steps song for me.

So happy to see this in another countdown! And so high too!!

With Step one songs like back to you came at the right time, as the album starts brilliantly but there is a huge lull in the middle of the album with the ballads, starting with heartbeat and this heart will love again which are ok songs but then come experience and too weak to resist which arent great at all and the album feels its dying a bit after 3 great openers and steptro and then come some strong songs again to finish out the album nicely.

Back to you is a good album track that really fits the album!

Next up is number 4, what the future holds, another song i loved from first listen, this was much more instant with me than scared of the dark and sometimes with songs you like instantly you go off them a bit when you get familiar with the full album but this didn't happen here, i love it just as much now as when i first heard it, and also another example of a brilliant steps single that deserved to be a hit.

Now for my final 3, starting off at number 3 its Steps, so happy this was a UK number 1 for them as i often feel its overlooked by the fans but im a huge fan and i think its absolutely a real bop live.

So the top 2 as it happens is one of old Steps and one of new Steps but both are brilliant and its a splpit hair type result for my top 2 and probably my top 3 as i love all three but for now number 2 is the brilliant Neon Blue, loved it from the off and it so deserved to be a big hit. Another song that is also brilliant live, there live performances since they reformed are great.

 

 

So the Number 1 a few have probably guessed, again another song i have always loved and have never gone off it, it did so well as a fifth single from the huge selling Step one and it closed that album off brilliantly and a real high, so my winner is Better best forgotten
