was watching the hives video on dvd this morning, and i was thinking the hives 2nd uk album, "trex" hives, wasnt it a bit underrated? well the first uk album "fave band" was a compilation of their other swedish albums.

 

still think walk idiot walk is an amazing single. if downloads were counted into the chart when that was out it would have been on the chart for at least 20 weeks!!! :dance:

just finnished watching Tussels in Brussels not so long ago. Great energectic live DVD.

 

Why have this band slightly gone off the radar as far as the music press, not so long agao they were shapping up to be stella

'Hate To Say I Told You So', 'Main Offener' and 'Walk Idiot Walk' are all amazing. :wub:

 

HTSITYS is up there with my favourite tracks ever, and there's a great Agent Provocateur ad which 'Main Offender' is the soundtrack to, featuring the lovely Kylie Minogue herself (it can be found on YouTube).

Very respectable, i've liked what i've heard and wouldn't mind getting some albums in the future.

I like their music. I saw them in concert last year and they were amazing :)

To be honest I think they were overrated to start with. They were hyped up like hell when Hate To Say I Told You So came out.

a one trick pony band. A pretty good trick, but not great - so no, they are not underated. They sold quite a bit and have a fan base but until they branch out more they are not going to get any bigger....

I like them but some of their songs do sound a bit the same though 'Hate To Say I Told You So' and 'Main Offender' for example but 'Your New Favourite Band' was a good album imo.
