US Billboard Hot 100:

61 50 07 Hold My Hand, Lady Gaga [peak: 49]

I guess it's peaked sadly :/ But top 50 is good!

I'm glad it reached top 50 but it really could've gone so much higher if Spotify was on board earlier and radio kept it going a while longer. A shame tbh~

I really have to comment again on its iTunes performance. I know iTunes means next to nothing now, but it has consistently been top 10 in the UK and US and many other markets SINCE RELEASE. In old money, this would be going on to become one of her biggest sellers!

The lack of playlists and streaming push will stop it being so, but if we compare like to like in terms of download power, it'd be up there with some of her big hitters! Either that, or it just appeals to a download market more than the streaming population but yeah if downloads were still big, this would be mega-big!

I think we are "blind" to the fact that this is an "adult" song. I don't think any teenager relates to it much, no matter the playlisting. The movie skews also older than the usual blockbusters in cinema.

It's #26 in the Thursday mids, so looking good for another week in top 30 but probably not increase in streams....

Spotify Australia

46. (+16) Hold My Hand *new peak*

Playlist effect :cheeseblock: And now the song also gets exposure from the Top 50 Australia playlist with 800k followers :cheeseblock:
