I have it at 181,000+ units currently in the UK, but it could be more given I haven't had exact figures for HMH for weeks.

Either way I imagine it'll be Silver by the end of September. It's done 16 weeks, one more and it'll have done more weeks than Stupid Love and Judas, becoming her 13th longest-running Top 100 entry in the UK. Longevity queen!

Hold My Hand exceeded all expectations regarding its UK chartrun, especially considering that it lost its UK playlist support 3 weeks ago.

In Canada things are even better: #55 this week (16 weeks on the chart, tying I'll Never Love Again), so another single with at least 20 weeks on the chart there.

It's been certified gold in Australia, Canada and France (and will soon be certified silver in the UK). It has 105 million streams on Spotify (average around 845k per day).

A middling hit! I'm glad it wasn't a complete flop and will certainly be remembered if only for the film which is decent enough. Shallow's wig remains safe though :kink:

I think it did well for such a "traditional sounding" power ballad that was clearly written as a movie theme. Maybe the TCB performance as the encore helps it to collect streams in the long run.

This is what we have so far then:

Australia — Gold (35,000)

Canada — Gold (40,000)

France — Gold (100,000)

Italy — Gold (50,000)

UK and US are eligible or near eligible for certifications too.

  • 3 weeks later...

"Hold My Hand" spends a 19th week inside the top 100 of French Singles Chart (#67 this week, up 7 spots). It becomes Lady Gaga's single from this decade with most weeks inside the top 100, supassing "Stupid Love" (18) and "Rain On Me" (16).
