I really don’t think we’re going to get the second album anytime soon, we know how awkward Polydor are. I’m sure she will jump on another dance track but despite getting strong streaming support she really is struggling this era

I really don't get where it went wrong - she had a huge era and was getting pretty much instant back to back Top 20 hits. "Let Them Know" wasn't too dissimilar from previous hits she's had and had heavy hype/promo and only scraped Top 20 after Love Island.

 

It's a shame, it's not like she even was gone too long or anything. I hope she can somehow pull it back but I don't know ....

Yeah it's a shame, she just needs a stronger song and this isn't it.

It really is odd how all her support seemed to disappear over night. I hope we still get the album, there are lots of other song teasers out their including Let Love Go which you can hear at the start off the Overthinking video. Also they've already shot the album cover and everything so it would seem like a waste to throw it all away now.

Problem is song quality, the songs aren't half bad but need to be stronger

they're not on the same league as her early hits like Don't call me up or Boyfriend

The label is putting lots of $$$$ on buying playlist support (or maybe it's Neneh :D)

but they should also invest on buying better songs

I really like this actually! Would've preferred it solo but 24k doesn't ruin it as much as I feared :lol:

 

Shame it's not doing so well though, we really need another DCMU for this era!

 

Boyfriend and Let Them Know are her best solo songs and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

imo this is up there with some of her best, I really love it. I do hope it can get a boost of some sort (she needs to perform on love island again like she did last year for let them know) but if this one 'flops' like good luck did, I think she'd really need to do a full on dance track with david guetta (like becky did last year with remember) to stop her fading into the background. shame really as she really deserves better. hope the album comes out soon!

the way this might miss the top 100 despite strong streaming support and a video, I really think her best option is to start focusing on features which i can see happening, we are surely due a Calvin Harris duet?

This is her best along with DCMU and Let Them Know, she deserves so much more!

Surprised it's actually happening, but I'm excited to hear it! Tour is also planned too apparently.

I'm glad it's happening. I feel like it got to the point where they got most of the album ready before even Let Them Know came out so they might as well stick with it and hope it does well.
