  1. Top Albums: #3: So Close To What - Tate McRae Tate cemented herself as a major pop girl with this record, I personally didn't like it as much as her first 2, but thats just cos the bar was so so high! a great album, so many bangers on it! And seeing her live again was like wow, you are born to be on the stage! Charting Singles: 01 2 hands 01 Sports car 01 Signs 02 It's ok I'm ok 02 Purple lace bra 03 Siren sounds 04 bloodonmyhands 06 Revolving door 07 Means i care 09 Dear god 16 Miss possessive 17 Nostalgia 18 I know love 27 Like i do 27 TIT FOR TAT 28 No i'm not in love 30 Green light 38 NOBODY'S GIRL 54 TRYING ON SHOES 60 ANYTHING BUT LOVE
  2. CONTENDERS FOR SONG OF THE YEAR Lola Young - dÂŁaler Fleetwood Mac - Silver Springs Tate McRae - Sports Car Addison Rae - Fame Is A Gun SZA - Kitchen Sam Barber ft. Avery Anna - Indigo Lola Young - Messy Lady Gaga - Abracadabra RAYE - WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! Sabrina Carpenter - Manchild Addison Rae - Headphones On CMAT - When A Good Man Cries JADE - FUFN (F*ck You For Now) Gracie Abrams - That's So True
  3. West End Girl - Lily Allen I was GAGGED when i heard this first, her signature blunt to the point songwriting worked so well in this album, she sums up her story so well. I cannot wait to hear it live this year! LUX - ROSALIA This was a spiritual event when i first listened. Berghain had my jaw on the floor! the whole album is just so beautiful. Addison - Addison Rae what a debut! absolutely amazing, she had her vision and she followed it through! So many banging songs and it was amazing live too, she really is such a performer, I see a lot of britney in her!
  4. Virgin - Lorde What Was That? I was gagged when the single dropped, so good! such a raw, honest album, great body of work from Lorde, and seeing it live really helped me enjoy it. Sex Hysteria - Jessie Murph she seems to be like marmite, and i'm on the 'love it' side. Her rasp in her voice is gorgeous and I am always here for my girls being free and open in their music. 1965 was a questionable track but aside from that a really great album, especially Gucci Mane & Heroin, and ofc mega banger Blue Strips SOS: LANA - SZA I knew it would be worth the wait for the SOS deluxe, and it was! Kitchen in particular is amazing but it was so great, basically a whole new album! That's Showbiz, Baby! - JADE what a debut album! So camp, fun and brilliant! I hate how the tracklist is all the singles first but every song on here is brilliant, you can really see her vision! the deluxe is great too!

  6. The Secret of Us - Gracie Abrams Stick Season - Noah Kahan THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT - Taylor Swift FUNNY little FEARS - Damiano David GNX - Kendrick Lamar This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway - Lola Young K-Pop Demon Hunters Soundtrack - HUNTR/X & Saja Boys Man's Best Friend - Sabrina Carpenter EURO-COUNTRY - CMAT People Watching - Sam Fender It was hard to finalise the top 15 tbh, 20-18 is some of last years biggest albums still carrying over, Damiano put out a solid solo body of work, and GNX was a proper moment, especially the superbowl. Lola is in as I saw the album live back in march, its such a good album. I loved the KPDH movie and listened to it a lot due to my nephews. Mans Best Friend was a really good album from sab, it was compared so much to SNS upon release but I love it as its own body of work, such bangers! CMAT & Kingfishr really representing Ireland in here, she is an amazing artist! It was tough to not include people watching in the top 10 as its a brill album from Sam, especially Crumbling Empire, but i couldn't swap it for anything that is in the top 10!
  7. The Dance (Live) - Fleetwood Mac Alligator Bites Never Heal - Doechii BRAT - Charli xcx C,XOXO - Camila Cabello GUTS - Olivia Rodrigo Halycon - Kingfishr Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson COWBOY CARTER - Beyonce D R E A M S I C L E - Maren Morris Short n' Sweet - Sabrina Carpenter I discovered some incredible artists this year, Kingfishr being one of them! Also good to have new music from Maren & Zara! more concert boosted albums in here too, and FM are always on rotation, the dance was the first cd i ever got when i was 8 years old so its always one i listen to, live versions>>>>>>
  8. Top 40 Albums: The Life of a Showgirl - Taylor Swift My Mind Wanders & Sometimes Leaves Completely - Lola Young The Dream - The Favors (FINNEAS & Ashe) I Quit - HAIM Is This What You've Been Waiting For? - Amy Macdonald Future Nostalgia - Dua Lipa Dua Lipa - Dua Lipa My 21st Century Blues - RAYE Radical Optimism - Dua Lipa SOUR - Olivia Rodrigo plenty of albums making the eoy due to concerts i'd been to, including all 3 of dua's albums! Really liked the bodies of work from The Favors, HAIM & Amy Macdonald this year. Showgirl just sneaking in as it felt wrong to have 2 #1 singles and 4 top 10s but the album not included, but #40 is truly fitting for how dissapointing that album was

  11. I think the title saying “full 3 tracks” will be implying after the 3 track rule as 3 is the most you could have to “fill” the capacity!

I’d imagine single 2 is gonna be that more upbeat one she’s been teasing and filmed a video for
