Don Diablo’s take on one of Avicii’s early hits will be released in June 3rd, as per his social media tease.

 

The song of course samples an even older hit, but the Avicii logo was used in the teaser so presumably his name will be credited and the rework will take inspiration from his version.

I will be cautiously optimistic.

Even Avicii is in the mix for one of the greatest Summer of dance representations that I can recall. Every major producer is up to something.

I don't like this idea, but I'll be happy for Don if this helps him getting his first Top 100.

The original Avicii track hardly set the charts alight (#46 in the UK) so I doubt this will do anything, it may fair better in Europe where it was more of a hit.

Another old Avicii track released under Vicious Recordings has been given an update for 2022 in continuation of the label's 30th anniversary celebration.

 

In other news, 'Waiting For Love' has become the third Avicii track to pass a billion Spotistreams. :cheer:
