I know everyone hates new Drake album cuz it's Dance and weird and all... but besides that, why the hell he didn't choose "Massive" as the lead? That could have been huge in the UK at least.

Drake on Apple:

11. Falling Back

12. Intro

16. Texts Go Green

25. Sticky

27. A Keeper

32. Currents

35. Calling My Name

38. Massive

51. Jimmy Cooks (feat. 21 Savage)

52. Flight's Booked

69. Overdrive

80. Down Hill

98. Tie That Binds

109. Liability

Having listened to ‘Falling back’ I actually think it sounded not too bad for the first minute or so…then it goes very weird and he repeats himself for about 2 minutes straight

Spotify

:left: 01. Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (578,305)

:left: 02. Harry Styles - As it Was (566,087)

:left: 03. LF SYSTEM - Afraid to Feel (423,807)

 05. Harry Styles - Music For a Sushi Restaurant

 08. Joji - Glimpse of Us

 23. David Guetta, Becky Hill, Ella Henderson - Crazy What Love Can Do

 37. Burna Boy - Last Last

 65. Sigala, Talia Mar - Stay the Night

 69. Bru-C - No Excuses

 71. Tom Grennan - Remind Me

:ne: 90. AJ Tracey - Seoul

 93. Tom Santa - Rainfall

 142. Latto, Mariah Carey, DJ Khaled - Big Energy

Looks like Harry has a reasonable chance of being back at #1 fair and square next week - at least Kate will get one week at the top for sure though.

Didn't realise AJ Tracey had another new song out, already a higher Spotify peak than 'Reasonable'. He's always had very inconsistent chart performance but was surprising that song missed the top 100 entirely, think that was his first pre-album single to do so since he first blew up - admittedly not his best song but I didn't think it was uniquely awful or anything!

8 Drake tracks in the Apple top 20 so far, top 3 at #4, #5 and #6. I hear that this is apparently mostly a dance/house album rather than hip-hop *_*

Is Drake really gone dance? cannot really imagine but don't wanna give him a stream either :D

Kate losing quite a bit of steam the last couple days :/

Drake still not cracking the top 3 on Apple but he does have all of #4-12 now. (In the US the album hasn't quite locked up the top 14, but Drake does have the entire top 15, as the one song breaking up the album is 'WAIT FOR U' at #14).

4 Falling Back

5 Massive

6 Sticky

7 Texts Go Green

8 Jimmy Cooks (feat. 21 Savage)

9 Intro

10 A Keeper

11 Calling My Name

12 Currents

18 Flight's Booked

20 Overdrive

26 Down Hill

30 Tie That Binds

33 Liability

Only one other newie in the top 100, Foals - Crest Of The Wave at #98.

Harry was briefly back at #1 on Apple earlier but is now down to #3 (Kate #1, LF SYSTEM #3).

Liability? Did Drake cover The Lorde? :D :o

Just checked and last time Drake had 3 songs opening with > 1 million on Spotify and 12 tracks over 500K...

1 Girls Want Girls 1,122K

2 Champagne Poetry 1,081K

3 Fair Trade 1,029K

But since he's not killing it on Apple, probably he won't do as well

Maybe that silly Right Said Fred cover alienated his fanbase after that

Is it not a dance album?

Really hope Kate manages a second week at the top and we don’t have one of those boring returns to the top spot!

Apple Music

1) Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill

2) LF System - Afraid To Feel

3) Harry Styles - As It Was

4) Drake - Falling Back

5) Drake - Massive

Huge for LF System now but drake still staying away from top 3.

I don’t expect Drake will do quite as big numbers as CLB this time around given it is

1- a complete surprise album with no pre release hype

2- has little in the way of hip hop / rap in the album

3- has a mixed to negative reaction from the fans because of this

but wasn't his previous album also released out of the blue?

checked a few songs and kinda liked it, I wouldn't call it dance either but the songs I heard were more in the vein of Nice For What... sure fans would prefer that to him doing covers like the Right said Fred one?

CLB was announced ages in advance, then the release was given a lot of hype in the week prior with billboards everywhere advertising it.

this album was just 'hey a new album is dropping at midnight'
