I'd say madonna and steps will be frontloaded more on pre orders than the other new albums but steps should have more casual sales than madonna throughout the week but Aitch may benefit more in general on streaming through the week which is my worry but hopefully steps have enough of a lead. It's a great start that they are number 1, I know TOTD was number 1 in mids and as far as I remember WTFH both 1 and 2 were never never 1 in the mids.

Yes Tears was #1 all the way up until the last day I think when Ed overtook on streaming (that was so gutting!) but WTFH was always #2 for both editions all the way through.

 

Gosh I really hope the gap is big enough, although if it isn’t then expect price reductions etc to start today or tomorrow!

With TOTF it was great it was number 1 in the mids but i remember knowing it wouldnt hold on but was really impressed by it sales as no one really knew how a brand new Steps album would perform. Im really hoping they have a enough of a lead so i cant wait to see the sales, if the sales gap is small it will be a stressful watch throughout the week.

Hopefully the signings thats left will bring in at least 2-3 thousand sales.

The sooner the sales are revealed the better, im also hoping they can go top 10 here in Ireland with it, hard to call though as TOTD made number 10 but WTFH part 1 made number 26 and part number 22.

I think if the battle is close today with Madonna is less worrying but if Aitch is close at 3 that could be the big threat.

Yes top 10 would be great for them in Ireland although again you just never know as the ultimate collection only made number 13 here although Gold went number 1.
