Not a fan of this and it feels kinda shitty to have in essence replaced Fergie with Shakira.

 

No-one ever cared about the BEP as a male unit, it was all about the female singer and the dynamic.

Been skeptical but tried giving a listen to everything the BEP have put out recently with very few songs saved on Spotify but this is really really bad.

 

Had 'I Gotta Feeling' never been released, this could have done the job 13-14 years ago. Now, this being a song by a group that's been around 25 years and had great songs alone and with Fergie, it just sounds very dated, redundant and a very unimaginative watered-down version of the former (which is also still too recent and overplayed to get away with a carbon copy).
