November 5, 20222 yr I’ve just finished the film and I really enjoyed it albeit it was quite hard to watch at times. Makes me so angry how nasty people were towards gay people, there is no excuse at all.
November 7, 20222 yr Quite intrigued to watch this when I get a chance. Some of it was filmed outside my old flat in the small town I grew up in (Saltdean in East Sussex, but the shop signs have been changed to make it appear as Peacehaven, which is a few miles along the coast). I did skim forward to that part, and it's odd to see such a familiar location in a major film, even more bizarre seeing the 90s cars and other props there.
