Posted June 20, 20223 yr Ryan Giggs has stood down as Wales manager with immediate effect. The former Manchester United winger, 48, stepped away from his role in November 2020 after being arrested. Giggs was later charged with using controlling behaviour and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, charges he has denied. Robert Page, 47, took over as interim Wales boss in Giggs' absence, leading them to a first World Cup finals since 1958. The Football Association of Wales is expected to release a statement later on Monday evening. What do you make of this?

July 1, 20222 yr Author The final preliminary hearing before Ryan Giggs faces trial for alleged assault and coercive behaviour against his former girlfriend has been held at Manchester Crown Court. Giggs, 48, was not required to attend the hearing, which set out a timetable for the trial which begins on August 8 and could last up to two weeks.
