June 23, 20223 yr Given how Lew Cap managed to make sure 'If You Go' made #1 with a huge wad of signed CD singles, I think he'll pull out all the stops to make sure his next release does.
June 23, 20223 yr None of the songs mentioned. Kate Bush will be #1 for awhile and then something new will replace it.
June 23, 20223 yr I wouldn’t expect Lewis to be back until around Autumn tbh, at Isle of Wight a few days ago he said new music will come “later in the year”.
June 23, 20223 yr he said the same thing when he played in my town a couple weeks ago, he didn't played anything new, just old stuff, but from his comments new music didn't seem imminent at all
June 28, 20222 yr Thinking Cardi's new lil durk and Kanye collab or maybe IFTK if it gets some remix (Like Keisha & Becky and Body).
June 28, 20222 yr Thinking Cardi's new lil durk and Kanye collab or maybe IFTK if it gets some remix (Like Keisha & Becky and Body). I doubt Cardi would debut at #1 straight away, her last proper single as a lead was ‘Up’ I believe which only peaked at #16 weeks into its chart run, I guess the other 2 names will help her though. As for IFTK, if a remix was released with some fairly big names in British rap, I could see it grabbing a few weeks at #1.
June 28, 20222 yr I voted for Beyonce's song Break My Soul in the poll, although I don't know when the music video is out for it, one of the factors that could push it to #1. Edited June 28, 20222 yr by The Sake
June 28, 20222 yr If that IFTK thing were to actually get to #1 when the original couldn't, that would be a real travesty.
June 29, 20222 yr Really Hoping some new Clean Bandit song might make it, or possibly a track off aitch's upcoming album?
June 29, 20222 yr Clean Bandit ever coming in contention for a #1 again seems incredibly unlikely given their popularity (and quality) decline in recent years, let's not forget their most recent single went nowhere near the top 40 and even looked like missing the chart altogether until the Apple Music playlist payola kicked in.

Yes, Clean bandit need popular collaborators to get to no. 1. However i do not see a change in quality, Drive was a great song but Tick Tock, Higher and Everything But You were a bit of a let down - for me that is usual clean bandit. :)
