I think it all depends on the intent/purpose of it. If it's live/acoustic ok; same if someone samples let's say Freak Like Me and they re-record vocals for a current thing it's also ok. But just re-recording it with the same backing tracks with the intent on making those the "official" versions of the songs? No no no no no, more than Keisha corrects Amelle on Get Sexy.
August 12, 20222 yr I definitely agree that it would be of the highest insults to Heidi to studio re record the 2.0 stuff. Live is completely different.

Yeah I agree with you re your examples to be fair. It’s like when the GH came out and people were saying Amelle should re-record Mutya’s parts on the songs I was like hell no!
August 27, 20222 yr I feel like I'm to blame for this discussion, sorry. :( I never intended for it to sound like I want Siobhan to re-record them in studio form, I don't think that's right. A Live EP on the other hand I think would be nice as I do like her versions of them, Caught In A Moment in particular.
