Has anyone heard the new Arcade Fire single yet?

 

Check it out here...someone recorded the first play from Zane Lowe and upped a 'video' to Youtube!

 

 

There are mp3s of the broadcast going around too.

 

I love the church organ sound and, with TAF, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, LCD Soundsystem, Gruff Rhys, The Aliens and Super Furry Animals back with new albums in the early part of 2007, it's gonna be a great new year for music!

I'm not sure whether it's a cd rip I have but it's really good quality. It does have Win introducing it though so I guess it can't be. There's better on Funeral but it's still a superb song, can't wait for the album which I reckon may be huge!

this is not nealy as good as many of their previous singles...

No release date as yet, but the album is scheduled for late March / early April. So I guess this single will probably be out on my birthday (19th March).

"Intervention" is my favoutite songs of them!!! It sounds so epic!!! I couldn't help but wonder why these songs are not No.1s for weeks...????

Don't know why there was the need to bump this thread but while it IS here I can't help but say the 'THE' in the title is MAKING MY EYES BLEED.

They did used to be called 'The' Arcade Fire though.

Oh. Well it's GOOD they changed the name. It just looks awful tbh. Almost like 'The Facebook' :lol:

They still use 'The Arcade Fire' sometimes.
