Not sure I see Ten Haag survivng that.. interesting if they do. Personally if they're going to make the move, about now is the right move with the international break looming. Wonder if they'd go for Van Nisterlroy? Which would be just like history repeating itself with Ole

The club has been mismanaged for so long and Ineos are making some bad decisions imo. Just not really sure what their recruitment structure is or who is actually pulling the strings!

  • He's been on par with Chelsea's Robert Sanchez this season who is also shockingly mistake-prone for a 'top' team. At least they've had the foresight to kick him out of the team (even though the backup

Id say give it to Ruud temporarily and see how he does if he’s not good enough then get someone else in by January. They made the wrong decision sticking with Ten Hag but a new manager must be given the January transfer window as there are so many players that need to go. Thankfully it seems everyone now agrees Ten Hag is done.

As bad as it gets

You're fighting on the cusp of FFP though and have to sell to buy. I'm not convinced buying and selling players is going to make things any better, there was a general consensus amongsut many people that Man Utd have strenghthend well over the summer. The reason Ten Haag stayed in the summer was because every other manager turned Man Utd down!

Sadly yes. We can now add De Ligt and Ugarte to the list of once promising talents who have thrown their career down the toilet.

 they’ve both had a total of 6 games

Name one player ETH has signed who's better now than before they joined us. We're a graveyard for footballers!

Well the latest intel seems to indicate the board will give him the Porto and Villa games. I think we can read into that anything but 2 wins from 2 and he'll be gone but he can't keep surviving on such a basis where one big defeat and the vultures will come swirling again.

Whenever a Untied manager post-Fergie has a bad run they have never ever successfully turned it around before being sacked so the trend will almost definitely continue here.

Let’s hope he wins those two games, we have to keep this party going 😀
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we do, then first game back after the international break get smoked by Brentford at OT then lose to who else but Mourinho's Fenerbahce midweek and that be his last game.

INEOS Just making themselves look bad. They did this with the FA Cup game where he was toast if they lost but they won and he ended up keeping the job. 1-2 results isn’t going to change 2+ years of utter mediocrity. It isn’t going to get better. Get rid of him

Ten Haag another one to add to the trend, then who’s going to be next? I do agree that his time is over now, but it’s a terrible decision from the owners. They should have sacked him in the summer, instead you’ve now got his entire Ajax team with someone likely to manage it! Reminds me a bit of when Brendan Rodgers got sacked in 2015. The writing was on the wall culminating in the Stoke disaster. The owners knew they wanted Klopp, but our recruitment that summer was a power struggle and we ended up signing Benteke and to this day I’m not sure why if we knew Rodgers wasn’t going to be there for long.

Don't know, the "bookies favourites" are mostly garbage picks. Tuchel is the only name floating around I wouldn't be appalled by but he's has his stock massively hit recently too. Reaslistically, they'll give it Giggsy Van Nistelrooy till t'end of the t'season. Just can't escape the Dutchness!
Tuchel is like the 2020s Mourinho, a good manager but only a 2 year impact before he falls out with everyone!

Yeah Tuchel would be hilarious, he’d fall out with everyone and want too much power.

Surely the move is moving towards having a Head Coach rather than a manager? Seems to be the fully adopted model now most clubs are going for, suspect City will too when Guardiola goes.

Tuchel is a fraud. I don’t know really who is out there but must be a few good candidates somewhere

The Sporting boss is the kind of manager they should be looking at, up and coming and eager to prove themselves. Erik fitted that category in 2019 but he’s not that now!

Also someone should buy Gorkores, he’s the hottest striker in Europe currently and previous player for none other than Coventry!!

Wouldn’t be against that one at all. He’s doing a great job

I'm shocked Bruno's red was overturned, seems like ages since an appeal against a sending off was actually successful.
Yeah wasn’t a red at all but was looking forward to three games without Bruno. I think they often respond to media reaction and every pundit said it’s not a red so they reversed it
It wasn’t a red. He was cynical but he didn’t go in with the studs up!
