Been this way for some time though and now you have a manager who doesn't even have the players to suit his style. And then even if he did, nobody really knows if he would be good enough. There is some absolute dross in that squad though.

 

Biggest concern I'd have is they can't attack, but they can defend a lot better. Genuine relegation form though, like City at the moment.

Although it's a complete joke that Cunha is even playing after the Ipswich incident. If he did that anywhere other than a football pitch he'd be in jail.

Onana is a clown as well. Not a top keeper he is always ready to make a mistake.

They could genuinely get relegated. I am doubtful it will happen, but they are so bad. They don't have the players for this 352 formation, the players look lost. United played much better after the Mainoo introduction, but I think Newcastle had another gear to go in to if they needed to.

 

Everyone will cry the squad needs investment - they've spent a ton of money. At some point you've got to ask yourselves that buying players isn't the answer. I personally don't think they've nailed down their footballing structure. It would be absolute classic for Utd to come and get a win at Anfield at the weekend - these things usually happen.

Casemiro and Erikson in midfield is basically a soccer aid midfield at this point. I know he likes to mess around with the team but he surely can never play those two together again
