Posted August 24, 20222 yr Chart 26.8.22 This week was one of the tighest, if not the tightest chart battle of the year! Demi Lovato released their latest album 'HOLY FVCK' on Friday and 3rd single from the album '29' dropped on Wednesday. and Maisie Peters also released the sister single to last weeks #1 'Blonde' in 'Good Enough'. All week it has been a super tight battle for which song would grab the #1, but Maisie edges ahead by less than 10 streams between 'Good Enough' and '29' :o It becomes Maisie's 5th #1 and she becomes the 2nd artist this year to knock themselves off of #1 after Taylor Swift did it in January! She also now ties with Taylor as artist with most #1s! '29' settles for #2 and becomes Demi's highest singles chart peak ever! Maisie falls to #3 with last week's #1 'Blonde', and Sabrina Carpenter & Mabel finish the top 5! Demi also is the highest climber this week, as lead single 'SKIN OF MY TEETH' rebounds a massive 20 places back to #6 9 weeks after it last peaked there! Demi claims 16 spots in the top 50 this week, every song from the album charts :o apart from the Demi bomb, Rina Sawayama edges closer to the top 10. August 25, 20222 yr Hey Conor! Good enough is pretty decent but it's very average. I very much approve of that climb for Hold The Girl. I'm sure we're almost at the same position on our charts for this at the moment. Easy Lover descending is a bit naff but hey hey. Substance was amazing when it debuted I think and really got me into this era but Beys album dropped and drew that focus right away from Demi. Fab chart ^_^

Shame your not too keen on Good ENough, I think the beautiful yet heartbreakingly sad lyrics (that i can relate to) really sold it to me! Hold The Girl should make the top 10 next week! Easy Lover only fell due to the Demi Tracks above it, most of which are set to fall so it has a high chance of rebounding Thanks for commenting!
