Argh these reviews from some hardcore fans are a little depressing!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, i've had a few more listens and the other songs have grown on me a lot so the album is more enjoyable now! I see a lot of mixed reviews.

Lol I have somehow not caved and still haven’t heard a snippet yet (I did try and find a leak last night but i was too drunk and the only link I found ended up downloading me Tove Lo’s album 😂)

 

Bring on 5am! I don’t think I’ve been less hyped for a Taylor album for a long time but still by far the most hyped I’ve been for any music this year 😂

Am i the only one whose UK store orders haven't been processed or dispatched yet? :unsure:

So far my "Jade Green Vinyl + signed print" has processed, but my "Mahagony CD + signed print" is still pending. Even though I made the CD order before the vinyl! Both from the official store. My HMV order of the Lavender CD hasn't dispatched yet either. :cry:

 

I have a feeling neither of my items will come until Monday at the earliest, maybe the vinyl on Saturday at a push.

 

 

I'm intrigued by the sort of "meh" response so far, but the old songs that Midnights' vibe has been compared to, and others saying it's a bit reputation, a bit Lover... not a bad thing for me! Can't wait to listen. I also wonder whether this will be a grower sort of album rather than immediate impact.

 

I do agree that a single released prior to the album would have been helpful to introduce us to the vibe. The long build up made fans build up all sorts of expectations. I've read a lot of comments of people saying that the artworks don't match the vibe of the music in their opinion.

Thank gosh 700 people I stan also released albums this week (and all at midnight UK time) so I can get through those on the wait until 5am 😂

I read on Facebook that others are having Spotify loading issues, particularly with Lavender Haze, Snow on the Beach, and Anti-Hero. Taylor is making Spotify crash. :cheeseblock:
