November 4, 20222 yr The amount of money she'd make if she went to Brazil next tour! Insane. No... 1 dollar = 5 reais (Brazilian currency) But now that Lula has defeated Bolsonaro in the elections, the Brazilian currency will rise again.
November 4, 20222 yr Author Does that user mean more in terms of tickets sold because of the demand there rather than exchange rates?
November 4, 20222 yr Does that user mean more in terms of tickets sold because of the demand there rather than exchange rates? No, he said money. For artists to make a lot of profit in Brazil, in addition to high demand, they must charge a lot for the ticket price, having money to go to a show is not a problem for those who live in Europe, but if an artist like Dua Lipa who charged between 420 and 840 reais for the ticket to her show in São Paulo last month (equivalent to 35% and 69% of the minimum wage in Brazil, respectively), can you imagine how much a big artist like Gaga would charge to not be at a loss?
