What happened to Another Love by Tom Odell ?

Up from 56 - 20 on Friday but obviously gone down tonight.

I’m guessing Lewis will start the campaign if he’s midweek #1 today and push for it this week but i can’t see him finishing higher than 3!

2 Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal - B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)

1 Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me

After nearly three years away, Lewis Capaldi is chasing a Number 1 debut for his comeback single Forget Me.

The up-tempo track - produced by TMS - is currently on track to become the Scottish star’s third chart-topping hit on the Official Singles Chart, following Someone You Loved (2019) and Before You Go (2019).

Nicki Minaj’s Super Freaky Girl is looking to rise to a new peak of Number 5, following the release of its candy-coloured music video and a Queens Remix featuring a cacophony of female rappers like City Girls’ JT and BIA.

Chris Brown Under The Influence could jump one place to Number 13 with Under The Influence, another new peak.

Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran’ team-up For My Hand is on track to jump up four and crack the Top 20 for the first time (20).

I mean, it could quite easily have slipped just to #21 or so. The big jump was because it got reset, it wasn't a natural 36 place climb.

Even the presenters knew that was an odd decision to play I'm Good (Blue) this weekend

Though it would appear the public as a whole doesn't care when it's still doing such good numbers on streaming

Sure, and unsurprising too, but radio has different rules!

1 Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me

I'd rather forget this track ever exists, his voice on it sounds a bit rough, I just hope it doesn't stay there for 6 weeks or more. -_-

Not that I tune in for the charts that often these days but I'm glad R1 is seemingly returning to normal programming sooner than expected, I understood the cancellations for the first day or two but find the length of the enforced national mourning period pretty excessive. If people aren't in the mood to tune in for some Nicki Minaj and OneRepublic garbage again yet they have plenty of other options, no need to take this one away from the more ambivalent members of the public :kink:

Guetta seemingly being slower to overtake Eliza than it appeared but I still fully expect that'll happen very soon if not still this week (much as Eliza did herself with LF SYSTEM). Hard to call if Capaldi is doing enough to stay #1 for the week but my hunch is he isn't quite.

Steve Lacy is a place higher than he was this time last week, is it worth getting my hopes up

thinking/hoping the top 3 will be reversed tomorrow
Sweary rap during the mourning period. Disgusting.

Not everyone is in mourning.

Bebe will be no1 today I think, hopefully by a good margin.

Radio has been very sombre over the weekend, was listening to KISS and Capital and it was all slow songs, sad times.
