I think All Out Of Love will win. Also I’d love to see End Before We Start place top 5 but I’m guessing it’ll be bottom 2.

I'd be happy to see it win.

I'm already going to say: JUSTICE 4 LISA!

Sorry but I think All Out of Love is a touch overrated. There's a good song in there for sure, but it kind of ends up grating on me because its rather relentlessly belty. To the extent that the key change towards the end of the song takes it to a place of sounding really unnatural. Claire would probably faint if she tried to sing it exactly like this studio version!

I appreciate the elements of eurodance in its production though. It's an aspect of it that takes it away from sounding completely like a Steps track. But yeah, I think the song would benefit from being a bit calmer to begin with so that it could have built up to something that sounded less frantic.

In general its a shame none of them really managed at least one successful solo era. I like the eyrodance feel to all out of love and its def the nearest song to steps that any of them released.

12. H and Claire: Beauty and the beast

:ne: Average score: 3.95

:ne: Highest score: 7.5 (Herbs)

:ne: Lowest score: 0 (Jessie Where)

> This was originally a song for the ‘Beauty and the beast’ soundtrack sung by Dame Angela Brigid Lansbury. There are many covers of this song with different success. H and Claire gave it a try as well. Not a good one judging by it’s average score! It was was already off to a rocky start from the beginning and eventually ends up as the least favorite solo release here on Buzzjack! Luckily it was released as a double A with ‘All out of love’ (which will make an appearance later on) and reached a #10 peak in the UK. <

Totally! Claire’s vocals are strong enough to carry this song but that’s the only positive note I can give this version :lulu:

Ooof I can't imagine preferring the likes of Get It On to Beauty and the Beast, but apparently everyone else who voted can! :drama: 3.95 feels really harsh!

So what do some of you dislike so much about Beauty and the Beast? Is it the song itself - do you not like the Celine version either, which is the version that H & Claire version is immitating? Or do you think H and Claire don't sing it well? Or is it a production issue? Or all of that? I honestly thought after listening to it, as someone who likes the song Beauty and the Beast sung by other artists, that the H and Claire version is at least pleasant and competent, even if the lasting impression is that I'd rather hear Celine's.

Its not a song i overly like by anyone who has released it, Celines version would be my preferred but its never a song i would actually play myself out of choice.
I don’t mind the song, but I’m not it’s biggest fan.what I will say is that it’s miles better than 2017 version by John Legend and .Ariana Grande.

I don’t enjoy the original already and their take didn’t add anything new for me. And H’s vocals are quite cringy for me tbh..

#11 will be announced tonight! Any predictions?

11. Intenso project feat. Lisa Scott-Lee: Get it on

:ne: Average score: 4.77

:ne: Highest score: 7 (Rodent_boy)

:ne: Lowest score: 3 (Jay)

> All I can say is poor Lisa! Even in this countdown this track can’t get a break and ends up at #11. In her own realityshow at the time it became very apparent that miss Scott-Lee was pushing herself to reach top 10. Well..we all know her famous quote and the result in the UK charts (#23). She might have wanted it a little too much? Bless her for trying again after this song with ‘Electric’ (which also make a splash on this countdown). However, it did reach some international charts like Scotland (#26), France (#38), Australia (#56) and Romania (#69). <
