A recent 1995 TOTP helped me with the 10 point question.

Nice to go out with my highest Champions League score, wow at those contestants' knowledge though! Merry Christmas to all PopMaster and TTTT players ^_^

  • 2 weeks later...

Does anyone know when this is back again? (Assuming it's not been yet as there are no new podcasts posted since the Champions' League final and this thread hasn't been bumped!)

I caught up with the rest of the CL rounds a few days ago but didn't get around to posting them yet so here they are, 18 remaining my highest score thanks to my fluke 10 point answer on Tuesday round 2 but I did match it on Friday :magic:

Wednesday:

Round 1: 1 (

'Love Hurts' (1)

)

Round 2: 5 (

Shayne Ward (5)

)

Lol x 10 years early for the first year (oops), 1 year early for the second. The 1 point for round 1 was a guess as well! :lol:

Thursday:

Round 1: 10 (

2005 (4) + 'Addams Groove' (6)

)

Round 2: 9 (

Pet Shop Boys (1) + 'America' (2) + Big Country (6)

)

2 years early for the second year.

Big Country

was a good educated guess!

Friday:

Round 1: 18 (

David Bowie (2) + Darlene Love (3) + 'Wonderful Christmastime' (6) + 'Sitting Down Here' (7)

)

Round 2: 9 (

The Waitresses (3) + Lizzo (6)

)

12 years late for the first year (double oops), 5 years early for the second.

been missing quizzes for some time, but just caught round 1 on popmaster and got a full-house, so I'm quitting while I'm ahead :lol:

Think it was a one-off celebrity special with only one round (Marti Pellow from Wet Wet Wet), there were bonus questions but not song clips - assuming they still counted double, I got 27 - didn't get

The Skids, George Benson, Kim Weston (guessed Tammi Terrell)

Three In Ten: 3 -

Get It On, Hot Love, Children Of The Revolution

Might as well play this one too! Had to scrub through the full show though as there was no podcast upload today.

Round 1: 12 (missed

Tears For Fears (-3), Stuart Adamson (-6), George Benson (-3), Kim Weston (-3), 'The First Cut Is The Deepest' (-3), 'Night Owl' (-6), 'My Destiny' (-3)

)

3 in 10: 2/3 (

'Hot Love', 'Get It On'

) - mind went totally blank after that despite a few other obvious ones oops!

I also just guessed Tammi Terrell for the Marvin Gaye question but no dice x Seems Ken misspoke on the Gerry Rafferty question as 'Night Owl' wasn't a top 3 hit, I presume he meant top 5! Not that I'd have known it anyway.

Another in the same format as yesterday (Glenn Tilbrook from Squeeze): 27 - didn't get

Paul McCartney, Aimee Mann, Elvis Costello

Three In Ten: 3 -

Imagine, Woman, (Just Like) Starting Over
