December 24, 20222 yr Author The world has gone mad today Fg1meK-IgOM | 01 // Anything Goes // 8.67 And now, in a rare, shocking turn of events, we have a JOINT winner with the exact same average and number of top scores, 10 scores and beyond. There was no way of separating them so we have a joint winner! First up it's Anything Goes, written for the musical of the same name. The song contains humorous references to various figures of scandal and gossip in society in high-society of the time. It was released as the first single from the debut album! Let's fall in love UC_kgE0PTic | 01 // Let's Do It // 8.67 And amazingly, we have a #1 song from both albums! From Love For Sale, it's Let's Do It which is a stark contrast to the song it shares the winning medal with. The song was introduced in Cole Porter's first Broadway success, the musical Paris by French chanteuse Irène Bordoni. In Love For Sale, it's a Gaga solo. She sings of nature falling in love as well as people across the planet. It's a joyous song about the pleasure of falling in love.
December 24, 20222 yr Author Oohh didn't expect that!! :o A winner from BOTH albums :cheeseblock: It's the only way to celebrate both eras :cheer: Jazzga and Tony Jazzett did THAT!
December 24, 20222 yr Let's Do It is soooooo underrated, truly one of her most beautiful and joyous songs! Deserves the top spot.
December 25, 20222 yr Author Night and Day is my favourite of the top 3 but the top 2 are great and showcase some of the best from each album. I'm happy it's a joint winner! Perhaps the first time it's ever happened on a BJ rate?
December 25, 20222 yr Author I haven't given the Jazz albums much time before but I'm glad this rate has made me focus on them a bit more!
