We are not talking about a flash-on-the-pan TikTok one-hit wonder here. If people want to make their own versions and remixes, they are free to do it, but there is no reason why Gaga should have such a thing as "Bloody Mary Sped-Up version" in her discography.

#55 now, maybe it's on a playlist? Every little bit helps!!

It was finally added to UK AM's Today's Hits yesterday.

Because they don't even take down the unofficial versions, which steal millions of streams every day and they don't even release an official version either.

Madonna, Ellie Goulding and Paloma Faith, just to name a few, have.

We are in a different time... The demand for a sped-up version is evident, and it would prevent unofficial versions from stealing millions of streams every day.

But does it matter in the big picture? The lack of sped-up version might cost a top 20 placing in the UK but it's still a hit and getting 2 million streams a day on Spotify in its own right. Sped-up versions don't make classics, the legacy and quality do.

Adapting to the times is what makes an artist successful in the long run. A sped-up version will not harm Gaga's legacy at all, quite the contrary, it would make the song reach new peaks, which is the only thing that will matter in the future.

From a business perspective it's absolutely short sighted of the label to not put out an official sped-up version when the demand is overwhelmingly there for it. Its existence would enable Bloody Mary to reach greater heights and in turn it would bring more attention to the album version, considering that's still the version that would be played on the radio. But the sped-up version would cater to a very wide audience right now. As Adelita says, they're turning to unofficial versions anyway. It seems like there's well over 50 million views of sped-up versions on YouTube. The views for sped-up versions on TikTok must be astronomical!

The existence of an official sped-up version does not negate the original album version's existence - they could work together in harmony for the song's overall success. It would essentially be like a remix. Give the people what they want

It was added on Today's Hits at #20, thats why its rising on AM.

Have to agree with this. An official sped up version will only help and benefit.

Insane that this has taken off like it has *.*

I still love it as much as I did back in the day and somehow it doesn't sound dated to me, if anything it makes the charts sound fresh x
