New reality gameshow on BBC1 hosted by Claudia Winkleman involving a group of people, three of whom are "traitors" who murder one of the other "faithful" players every night. It's the job of the faithful to suss the traitors out, or they win all the prize fund at the end. Based on a Dutch format.

Three episodes aired this week and it's absolutely BRILLIANT, gripping TV and so unpredictable. A great job with the casting too, and Claudia is as wonderful as always.

Obsessed with this, it’s literally just mafia as a TV show :pting:

Love how much Claudia is enjoying it.

Absolutely obsessed with this. Too many thoughts to share here but yeah it's gripping and just how reality shows should be done. It can only get more intense as it goes too with the prize pot increasing + less faithfuls :drama:

I am LOVING this. Feels so fun and fresh, similar to The Mole on Netflix.

Initial faves from first three episodes are Hannah, Amanda, Alyssa and Aaron. Really dislike John, very nasty and bitter, also comes across quite narcissistic at times too. Hope he doesn't last too long.

Yeah, John’s the only one I dislike from an otherwise good set of contestants. Alyssa and Amanda are perfect picks for the Traitors, I think Wilf will be voted out fairly soon.

Started watching last night and ended up binging all 3 episodes as I wanted to see who was going to murdered/ banished next.

Yeah I initially liked everyone, however John has really turned - especially in that last episode where Aaron was asking him why he thought he was a Traitor etc and then just started shouting at him.

Alyssa and Amanda are playing it perfectly though; steering things when necessary - but not enough (at the moment) to be suspected. Wilf is a bit all over the place - they need to shift suspicion onto someone else.

But yeah I'm addicted now :D

I need to watch this. I went to school with Wilf, though he's a bit younger than me!

Ah nice; he started really well; Episode 3 isn't the best for him overall, but given what's going to happen in Episode 4 I think suspicion may shift elsewhere - particularly given the preview at the end of the last episode.

Obsessed with this! :cheeseblock: Can't wait for this week's episodes. Claudia is incredible *.*

John... wow. His level of paranoia and nastiness this early into the game was something to behold! Poor Aaron!

Imran didn't play it smart by being so offish and letting himself become a target of people disliking him (the way Theo physically couldn't stand him after such a short time!!).

I kind of feel bad for poor Fay  She comes across as being a little awkward and guarded which clearly has aroused suspicion but I felt bad for her during the spinning wheel challenge. :(

So far I'm 100% behind The Traitors winning this. Alyssa & Amanda are already icons. *.* To be fair Wilfred contributes well during the meetings but it didn't take long for him to crumble and I assume his days are numbered!

I agree about Fay! I can't really see anything that warrants her being labelled as two faced or whatever. I agree that she's probably just a little awkward really.

Just saw on Aaron's Insta - he posted on his story about tonight's ep... and they labelled The Breakfast bit at the start 'The Red Breakfast' - presumably after the 'Red Wedding' episode of GOT cos it ends up being carnage.

That was one of the most chaotic yet entertaining and intense Reality TV episodes in an AGE omg.

Tom is completely unhinged, manipulative and king of gaslightinf. He was way too quick to throw his girlfriend under the bus somewhat too, so weird. He also just talks for the sake of talking - but he has an air of absolute ridiculousness to him, no one cares about you being a magician lmao.

Maddy disappointed me in her defending of John and attacking Aaron, John continues to be a narcissistic nasty little man. Seeking validation from others constantly and projecting his own insecurities on to others.

Hannah, Ivan and Amanda shone that episode. Fay too to an extent. Hannah's "put me up because I can't listen to any more of his shit" was a HUGE mood, as wel as Amanda acting like a diplomat after being a traitor herself  Ivan's comment about Tom's career too!!

Such a good episode! I don't think I've felt so excited by a Reality TV show since maybe Big Brother!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE viewing tonight!!!! The next episode can't come soon enough

Tom is an absolute trainwreck and it's the perfect example of how these games can make someone spiral. I knew revealing his and Alex's relationship was a terrible move from the second he did it, but I am PRAYING Alex gets voted out because that just hammers home how bad it was! Alex wouldn't have had a single vote at the roundtable otherwise  Equally, Ivan going and us getting to see the look on Tom's face when he realises he's wrong would be incredible too.

Howling at Maddy accidentally getting one traitor right, I saw a tweet saying she need a crime series where she gets the right suspect every time for the wrong reasons  Hannah provided so many moments that episode, after previously not noticing her outside of the roundtable sessions

Claudia's turtleneck just exemplifies how wonderfully ridiculous this show is *.*

What a GREAT episode of reality TV. I echo everything you two have said. My favourite of the episode was Hannah who literally represented all of us, bored and annoyed at Tom's wild antics. No idea which way it'll swing between Ivan and Alex now! I'm wanting Alex out of the two because that will really stir things up.

Catching up on last nights episode - the breakfast and all the accusations etc afterwards are TV gold!

The game has got to so many of them - especially John and Tom :D

Him standing up and outing his relationship with Alex was just such a knee-jerk reaction to everything

Be interesting to see what happens when the Traitors next meet as whoever out of Ivan/ Alex remains is most likely to be murdered anyway :D

I reckon Amanda will vote for Alex out of the two; as she didn't really seem taken in by Tom's bullsh!t. Then Ivan gets murdered overnight - further disproving Tom's theories,

Although saying that, they may want to keep Ivan in, as everyone is suspicious of him. Kill John and then whoever survives out of Alex and Ivan would be a target next time. Saying that though, Tom will probably be a big target at the next round table.

I binged all 4 episodes last night and I AM HOOKED. This show is so chaotic and exciting. Last night's episode was a hoot.

Tom is so delusional and confident with it it's comical, I cannot wait for the humbling he will have tonight. The way he thinks he's sussed Alyssa when she wasn't even on his radar until Alex put her name in his head just adds to this.

Here for Hannah staying as long as possible, she is a big vibe and her outbursts have been brilliant.
