It seems like it’d be a great opening track to me.

I think this is possibly my favourite Sugababes album?!

From being a massive stan of 2.0 and being saddened about no Heidi, this year really made me stan 1.0 too!

I can see why there is love for this line-up and i've definitely warmed to Siobhan SO much. It definitely helped meeting her and seeing them perform live on tour this year! I'm so happy for Siobhan that she's got more than one album to her name now and more original music she can sing.

This album is so good!

Favourites:

Victory

Summer of 99

No Regrets

Today

Metal Heart

Beat Is Gone

Least:

Boys - i'm just not getting into it but 12/13 is great!

Not 2022 making me stan the Sugababes again!

I love Sugababes 2.0 as much as anyone and will always love Heidi but there is no way this album would be as strong as it is without Siobhan. In many ways, she is the backbone of this record even more so than Keisha and Mutya given she is the only one with writing credits on every single track.

So many of the melodies remind me so much of Siobhan’s solo work too. Her ear for a great melody is second to none.

this is a FANTASTIC record

their voices just mesh together unlike any other group i can recall and so distinctly their own. this record also doesn’t sound 8 years sonically

😮‍💨

The thing is, the further away from it we get the more I really feel that Angels and Three are just Mutya and Keisha dominant and you don’t actually start to really feel Heidi until Taller. So this at points does feel quite early 2.0 musically for me.

This really is a body of work and I’m so happy we can finally have it and hear what they wanted us to experience from the MKS era. I’d love to have a physical of course but to actually finally have it released feels like such an important milestone, like something that just needed to happen not only for us but for them too. It finally brings that whole era to a close and they can move on from it to what comes next without being constantly asked about it

Right? The fact that these tracks are between 8 and 10 years old and yet still feel quite present is incredible

But then again, a lot of One Touch still holds up quite well. These three together is just something magic

Keisha’s sunnies are iconic

That must have been recorded at least a week ago coz Keisha is in Canada.

They’ve played a blinder on this. Kept us continuously guessing

To be fair, Mutya kept leaking things - informing us on tour about Today being released on streaming and then of course captured Siobhan raising the question "what comes after Metal Heart?".

Some bitter Betty tried to edit wiki to claim Heidi and Amelle wrote it with MNEK which is like such BS. But like. Take a day off. Sad c**ts

Yeah but we didn’t expect to get the album today. Like. At all.

Was so hoping that that Metal Heart leak audio was something albumy but that was a long time ago

Hahaha really? Some people…

What an album! It's brilliant, so many highlights from just one listen and I firmly believe everything will continue to grow. Love Me Hard and Today sounded brilliant on tour and remain excellent in studio form, and my other favourites from first play are Victory (!!!!!), Drum, I'm Alright, Back in the Day and Summer of '99. So consistent too. Gonna be playing this a lot

IMO, Summer of '99 is the best track on the album. It is such a nostalgic song. I haven't stopped playing it today. It definitely should be a single.

Kudos to Jim, Shaznay & Siobhan for writing such an incredible song. I'm just in love with it.

It’s so nice see pretty much a different favourite for everyone here.

Mine is still No Regrets after 2-3 play throughs.

Didn't even realize Sugababes still has a forum here.

My favourites so far:

Victory

Today

Love Me Hard

Summer of '99

Drum

Back In the Day

If they want to push the album, I'd focus on promoting "Victory", "Today" and "Love Me Hard".

But why didn't they include "Lay Down In the Swimming Pool"? :(

I think it might’ve been to do with the sample, or maybe it was never intended to be released in that form. Not too sure sorry.

This was always the original version of I Lay Down, the one we were always supposed to have.

The Swimming Pools version was a mashup Dev Hynes and the girls did at the end of their sessions together just for fun.
