I don't see what the issue with predicting RAYE as next week's #1 is? It's not based on nothing, it's based on the evidence of the streaming charts...

I'm still rooting for Meghan Trainor to bounce back up to Number 1 :cheer:

Raye is doing 50% ore than SZA on Spotify, of course she's the favourite for #1 next week, why would SZA suddenly increase by 50%

and SZA is only doing well on Spotify, not doing that well on Amazon/Apple

 

SZA is not even RAYE's closest competition unless she has a significant increase next week, it's more likely Central Cee will be #2 I'd say.

 

But yes, barring a big new release it looks safe enough for RAYE next week just based on her current lead and stability.

Raye deserves at least week at #1 after being blocked by all the Christmas shenanigans. Luckily she's still looking like the clear front runner.

 

After that, if it's true that Miley is releasing then i'll probably be rooting for that, but SZA, Bugzy Malone, a brand new release... literally anything but that Central Cee shite.

Raye has got to get there. I always thought of her as a minor dance feature artist and on some very mediocre songs ('Bed') but 'Escapism' is amazing and her attitude to success despite record company is just needed!

There always seems to be a huge return each January now with the lul in November December remember The Weeknd released a whole album in the first week of this year!

Most of the top 10 on Spotify are Xmas songs and on Xmas eve and day do close to over a million and near 3 million if you Wham, even with acr that’s huge!

I don’t think Sza’s a threat to Raye next week - I see it being a 3 way battle for #2 between her, Central Cee and Taylor who’s still in the mix of course.
