Posted December 31, 20222 yr One thing I noticed fairly early in to my Sugababes fandom was that after One Touch pretty much every album until Catfights & Spotlights had at least 1 UK only bonus track. This really disappointed me as I didn't like feeling like I was missing out. Just Don't Need This (Angels With Dirty Faces) No Man No Cry (Angels With Dirty Faces) Twisted (Three) Buster (Three) Better (Taller In More Ways) 3 Spoons of Sugar (Change) So what do you think of the songs from the above list? Do you have a favourite/least favourite? Would any have worked as singles? Should've they been included on international versions of their albums? Are there any ideas as to why they were excluded from international versions of their albums? I've also added a poll for you to vote for your favourite. :) Edited December 31, 20222 yr by One_For_Sorrow
December 31, 20222 yr Artists tend to do territory exclusives in their biggest markets. Carly Rae does it in Japan for example. It’s a shame that the international markets still don’t have these tracks, because they are great, all of them. Twisted and Buster are both essential for Three, they are incredible and I love them lots. Better is cute and I very much enjoy 3 Spoons of Suga. Just Don’t Need This and No Man No Cry are also absolutely brilliant too Not sure I can pick a fave out of the Angels and Three ones tbh
January 1, 20232 yr Author Yeah, I mean Adele did it too in the US with 25 & 30 having Target exclusive tracks. It's more just frustrating that 20 years on their still not available outside of the UK. Saying that I did buy the UK edition of AWDF, Three and TIMW about 10 years ago just so I could have them all.
January 2, 20232 yr Author For me Better was the one I loved on first listen, but I think Buster and Twisted are also great. I do love (I think it’s Heidi’s part) in Just Don’t Need This. ‘I’ll go wherever I know that you want go, I won’t have to tangle with your ego’.
