January 13, 20232 yr Would expect decent streaming numbers for Clavish's album as his singles chart pretty consistently (albeit not that highly aside from 'Rocket Science'). Probably not a #1 contender though and not sure any of the above will be either, although 10k will probably be enough so who knows. edit: although forgot Courteeners were releasing too, they probably have a good shot even if it is just a re-release, they did get a remix version of the album to the top 5 a few years ago lol
January 13, 20232 yr Courteneers for #1!! It's a classic album and with zero competition and lots of variants, I totally see it at #1
January 13, 20232 yr after checking the Courteneers store there are not that many variants or bundles, was expecting more of a push

January 20, 20232 yr Author Joesef is a Scottish musician who released his debut album last week, and is #1 there now thanks to pushing for sales. He has 2.4m monthly listeners on Spotify so isn’t a complete randomer.
January 20, 20232 yr surprised Måneskin are not #1 by miles, not even top 3 is weird but guess they will sell well physically
January 20, 20232 yr surprised Måneskin are not #1 by miles, not even top 3 is weird but guess they will sell well physically The have ignored the UK except when they were asking their fans to buy the CD online but I expect streaming will be a lot better. The CD and Vinyl are low on Amazon but their own store could be higher as these aren't signed. Edited January 20, 20232 yr by Megan_
January 20, 20232 yr Author The have ignored the UK except when they were asking their fans to buy the CD online but I expect streaming will be a lot better. What else do you want them to do? They have a surprise London show here in a few days, that doesn't seem like ignoring to me.

The UK was one of the few countries in Europe that The Loneliest didn't make the top 100 and now they want physical album sales from 1 of the biggest markets. I am not surprised.
