The 31-year-old has signed a contract at the Emirates until 2024, with the option of a further year.

Felipe has passed his medical at Nottingham Forest and is now trying to finalise personal terms before a potential move from Atletico Madrid.
Sigh, all very depressing. United get an injury and they act and get a good replacement in. Liverpool get half their team injured and we sit on our laurels. Really do feel if we don't get Belligham in the summer and the owners are still here there will be serious unrest. We get outspent by 75% of the league

Nottingham Forest are close to signing Ghana international and free agent Andre Ayew.

The 33-year-old forward is without a club following his exit from Qatari outfit Al Sadd and is closing in on a short-term deal at the City Ground.

He has turned down the chance to join Premier League rivals Everton and is undergoing a medical at Forest.

The former Swansea and West Ham player would be Forest's 29th signing since their return to the Premier League.

Sorry I know it is late to discuss winter transfers, and too early to discuss summer transfers, but I wonder if there will be any shock exits this summer... who could be on their way out of the premier league?
