  1. Jodie Harsh - Hectic [wasn't that fond of the one other song I'd heard from her 'My House' so this was a welcome surprise and best of the week for me, a right dance bop]
  2. Shane Codd feat. LA Vision & BIM - Same Mistake [quite possibly the best Shane Codd song yet, it seems a bit more refined from him]
  3. Sam Smith feat. Calvin Harris & Jessie Reyez - I'm Not Here To Make Friends [quite alright but I was hoping it wouldn't be what seems like a Funk Wav leftover]
  4. Mau P - Gimme That Bounce [bit of a comedown from Drugs from Amsterdam though]
  5. Cheat Codes feat. Lady A - Something's Coming [it's a decent Kygo impersonation I guess, fair bit better than Frank Walker/Ella Henderson's one from last week]
  6. Mr Eazi - Werser [it's alright for what it is but I've never been that fond of amapiano in general]
  7. 220 KID feat. KANGDANIEL & Willim - Look Where We Are [most forgettable of the week's picks]
  8. Skrillex & Bladee - Real Spring [not my thing whatsoever]

surprised to see no one has gone for Sam Smith x Calvin Harris yet although Jodie Harsh leading is very pleasing

Very good: Skrillex

Decent: Sam Smith, Mr Eazi, Mau P, 220 KID, Jodie Harsh

Mid: Shane Codd, Cheat Codes

Much better again from Skrillex after the disappointing last single, I had hopes it would be with the Bladee collab #drained (though it's still a tier below the first two singles). That's the only one I'll be playlisting so an easy pick here. Though the Sam Smith song is also thankfully a big improvement on their last single, reminds me a bit of Jessie Ware (although not as good obvz).

Agreed that Cheat Codes' Kygo-alike is at least better than Frank Walker's last week but it was still right on the cusp of 'mid' vs. 'bad', I'm feeling generous. I liked 'Good Time' more from Jodie.

Definitely some interesting choices this week Dan, especially Mr Eazi, which I’ve put last this week, but I am pleased to see my first choice currently leading the poll! :cheer:

1. Jodie Harsh – Hectic [a truly great find, and I’ve never really paid any attention to Jodie Harsh music before, but I will now]

2. Shane Codd feat. LA Vision & BIM – Same Mistake [Not a standout single, but a relatively decent piece of house music nonetheless]

3. Mau P – Gimme That Bounce [something a bit different and I don’t mind getting behind this]

4. 220 KID feat. KANGDANIEL & Willim – Look Where We Are [the singles by 220 KID are getting much weaker and blander for me]

5. Cheat Codes feat. Lady A – Something's Coming [basic]

6. Sam Smith feat. Calvin Harris & Jessie Reyez – I'm Not Here To Make Friends [Not feeling this on first listen but may return to it]

7. Skrillex & Bladee – Real Spring [skrillex has done better than this]

8. Mr Eazi – Werser [Why is this here in this poll?]

Good luck to Jodie Harsh and look forward to next weeks poll. ;)

Same Mistake, Hectic and Gimme That Bounce are all really good!

^ Mr Eazi was on NMF DANCE and I believe it is an amapiano track which is a dance genre most popular in south africa
I managed to do several listens and somehow the Kang Daniel/220 KID collab still comes out on top for me :o This man finally remembered how to make good music :cheer:
