Starring: Tom Hanks, Mariana Treviño & Rachel Keller

I absolutely adored this! Yes, it destroyed me (SEVERAL times!!!) and Tom Hanks is in his best role for a long time! He's done quite a few "duds"/had a patch where he was awful recently, but the Tom that I know as one of the greatest actors ever makes an appearance again.

 

It's a very heavy movie and story, but it's also incredibly hopeful and uplifting. Mariana Treviño is amazing in this! A huge scene and movie stealer!

I have never been on the verge of tears so much at a movie. The flashback scenes to young Otto were so good, I honestly don't know how I held myself together during the sequence where "This Woman's Work" was playing in the background.
