New poll up probably in a couple of hours if we have any more last minute voters! (At the moment we're on 47 votes for a third week in a row, the consistency)

I did vote in this the other day but didn't get around to doing my usual ranking/commentary oops, here it is now in slightly more abbreviated form as the songs aren't as fresh in my memory:

1 'TRUSTFALL' - P!nk's best song in aaaages, not hurt by the Fred again.. production of course but she delivers a strong hook here as well to her credit 9/10

2 'Snooze' - I remember this being a mid level highlight from the SZA album on first listen but it's grown on me more now, a little surprised something so lowkey has gone viral from the album but I'm here for it, gives me similar vibes to Childish Gambino's 'Redbone' 8.5/10

3 'Weekends' - did not expect Freya to go in this disco-tinged direction but it works well for her, particularly like the bit where the production ramps up in the latter half of the chorus, reminds me of some of Florence + The Machine's stuff 8/10

4 'Love Again' - I thought this was ok on first listen but did think it might be a grower and indeed it has been, it's very Bieber but I actually really like the instrumentation and the chorus is catchy 7.5/10

5 'I'm Not Here To Make Friends' - it's very diet 'What's Your Pleasure?' but still a bit of a groove and waaaay better than 'Gimme' which is all I can really ask for 7/10

6 'Us Against The World' - a passable 50 Cent pastiche but I can't see Strandz being a very interesting presence in UK rap if we ever even hear anything else from him 6/10

7 'Voices' - Oliver Tree's verse is ok, KSI just really needs to stop trying to sell this vibe because it's very tedious. Has grown on me a little bit but still mid 5/10

8 'Hey, Mickey!' - I don't really know what to say about this one, I didn't hate it but also just not something that needs to exist. Thought the production was kinda basic as well iirc. Also lol that it finishes with a 'haha gay' line, at least it has the excuse of being years old so hopefully she's matured a bit now 5/10

9 'Here' - that hook is really not strong enough to be repeated as many times as it is, gets quite grating 3/10

10 'The Kind Of Love We Make' - no. 0/10

Voted for the top 4.

Was surprised at the time I voted to see Sam had actually been in 2nd place and my vote tied Freya with them - but Freya now pulled ahead so we have the top 2 I initially expected.
