Chart 17.2.23

RAYE knocks herself off #1 this week! In a rare feat only Taylor Swift and Maisie Peters have previously managed, RAYE does too as 'Oscar Winning Tears.' takes the prime spot. It becomes RAYE's 3rd #1 single from her debut album! She also manages the rare feat of claiming the entire top 3 as 'Escapism.' climbs to #2 and 'Ice Cream Man.' slips to #3. Maisie Peters & Mimi Webb's former #1s finish the top 5. At #7 theres a big climb for Zara Larsson with 'Can't Tame Her'. The 80s-influenced banger vaults 11 to a new peak. There are also two other new aditions to the top 10; RAYE's 'Worth It.' climbs 7 to #8, while Ghost prove they are not a one-hit wonder following 'Mary On A Cross' as latest single 'Spillways' vaults a massive 18 spots to #10!

Just outside the top 10, Pinkpantheress & Ice Spice's viral 'boys a liar' makes climbs to #11, but the biggest climb comes from Caroline Polachek, Charli XCX & George Daniel. Carolines original solo version of 'Welcome To My Island' has gained traction on top of the remix's streams already pushing it to a new peak of #12 after a +30 place climb! at #14 theres a fun new entry from Mae Stephens. 'If We Ever Broke Up' was released after the tiktok clip of it went viral and it makes a splash! Lauren Spencer-Smith's relatable 'Best Friend Breakup' is new at #19, and Lana Del Rey's 2nd single from her upcoming album 'A&W' enters at #21 after just 1 day of release! Lizzie McAlpine's 'ceilings' enters at #38, Jax Jones & Calum Scott team up for 'Whistle' at #41 and Sam Smiths 'I'm Not Here To Make Friends' takes a belated entry at #42. There is also new entries for Rihanna's 'Love On The Brain' at #30, Lana's 'Ride' at #40 and Taylor Swift's 'Today Was A Fairytale (Taylor's Version)' at #47.

Brit awards impact: Former #1 'Crazy What Love Can Do' from David Guetta, Becky Hill & Ella Henderson re-enters at #27. Lewis Capaldi's 'Forget Me' is back at #43. One year after its original release, Jax Jones & MNEK re-enter with ‘Where Did You Go’ at #48, Lizzo's new single 'Special' which features SZA is at #49 and Cat Burns rounds us off at #50 with 'go'.

Hey Conor!

Red flags holding well  it's peaking on my chart this week above where it currently sits for you.

Boy's a liar PT 2 is where it's at for me. It's so good.

I'll need to give that new Lana track a listen..I didn't even realise she had anything new out.

It's impressive that anti-hero has managed another week on your chart. I wonder if it'll manage another next week.

Fab chart ^_^

Surprising to see RAYE knock herself off, but it's RAYE and she is great.

I also like the top 10 for "Can't Tame Her" and "Worth It", the big gains for "Boy's A Liar Pt. 2" and "Welcome To My Island" and the debuts for "A&W", "Love On The Brain", "Ceilings", "Whistle", "I'm Not Here To Make Friends" and "Special".

Great chart!

Hey Conor!

Hey Sergej!

Glad you like Zara in the top 10! Boys a liar and Welcome to my island will climb, as will A&W, Ceilings, and Whistle!

thanks for your comment!
