Posted February 21, 20232 yr Blatant bias time here. How do you take one of the best songs of the 1970s (written by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith) and make it even better? You add Suede and a BBC orchestra, that's how. This is truly magnificent. EzdFSEzwu8o
February 21, 20232 yr Absolutely wonderful. I really hope that they were able to record some of their own songs in the same session. It would be a travesty if Suede had access to the BBC Concert Orchestra and didn't get the chance to do "Still Life" with a full band.

They did She's In Fashion and The only Way I Can Love You. It's available on BBC Sounds along with an accompanying interview.

Interesting they went for "She's In Fashion", given it's not one they play live as regularly since they reformed, but it was absolutely beautiful in that arrangement. "The Only Way..." is nice as well.

Is it too much to hope that they will do some gigs with an orchestra?
