March 13, 20232 yr Wow, I've not heard this in so long! Definitely very different for them. It's not one of my favourites but I do enjoy it! :)
March 13, 20232 yr Author It's quite noticeably more mature in sound than much of the Sunshine album! It's almost like what could've happened if they went the direction of Seeing Double a year earlier.
March 13, 20232 yr It's quite noticeably more mature in sound than much of the Sunshine album! It's almost like what could've happened if they went the direction of Seeing Double a year earlier. I was thinking that it might actually fit well on Seeing Double.
March 20, 20232 yr Author Week 4: I Really Miss You Back to the S Club era for this one, with Rachel centre stage for the beautiful I Really Miss You. A prime example of the TV show being interweaved with their music, I Really Miss You was performed in the Miami 7 episode Missing, where stern boss Howard loses the group as his employees in card game with his even meaner brother, causing Howard to realise how much he misses and appreciates the band. rnIIxFoUOYU
March 20, 20232 yr I remember this in the episode, it was the card game wasn’t it? One of my favourite songs from the album.
March 26, 20232 yr Author Week 5: Sunshine This week is Slayer's choice but he's on holiday this week so I'm posting his commentary for him, this is what he had to say about his pick!! I have chosen the title track from their third album, 'Sunshine'. I've always had a soft spot for this song and absolutely love that it is very Jon heavy. It was really nice to hear him take the lead and really shine (no pun intended :P). I wish we got more tracks that heavily featured Jon, I would love it to get a spot on tour. Whenever I hear this song it was always lifts my spirits and gets me swaying along to it  wUJ10SldNqc Dsb8ercJJus
March 26, 20232 yr Author Sunshine is Jon's finest moment for sure, he sounds so good and it's such a lovely moment on the album, as well as in the TV show. It's got that feel-good S Club vibe but there's nothing else quite like it in their discography at the same time!
March 27, 20232 yr Lovely choice, I haven’t ,Ostend to this or the album in full for such a long time. I think I may need to change that.
April 2, 20232 yr Week 6 already! Time for a solo moment? :o :cheer: Rachel's beloved second (and final  ) solo album Come and Get It is packed with high quality pop, and I'd like to shine a spotlight on Dumb Dumb, the final track on the album! It's noted as being a bonus track on the CD release, although given that this is the only version of the album in existence anyway, its bonus status is essentially irrelevant. :kink: This is actually my most played album track, just ahead of Nothing Good About This Goodbye. I haven't really got anything deep and meaningful to say about this honestly, I just think it's a bop  :cheeseblock: ICWeV5qoY_E
April 2, 20232 yr Author Come & Get It is obviously such a good album throughout, but it ends on such a high with Dumb Dumb, definitely my favourite non-single!! Excellent pick Jay *.*
April 2, 20232 yr Haven’t listened to this album since the first lockdown 3 years ago. I think that’ll need to change.
April 3, 20232 yr Oh wow, i've not heard this song in years! Such a good choice, definitely catch and would have been a great last single!
April 4, 20232 yr Yao I’m just listening to this now and it’s quite good. A very solid album track. Also really like the chorus. A great choice, one I wasn’t expecting.
