Posted March 7, 20232 yr Tom has posted on his Instagram Stories today that they are shooting a new video for the first single off their new album - so I guess the topic can start, right? I did love "Young Dumb Thrills" so I'm excited to see what they do next! Edited March 28, 20232 yr by ThePensmith
March 7, 20232 yr I heard 5 Colours on the radio the other day and wondered if they would be making a return!
March 26, 20232 yr There isn’t much to go on tbf! It might be alright, but I can see it being just a generic hard rock song tbh. Hopefully not though.
March 26, 20232 yr Oh same here haha. I like a lot of stuff in that genre, but it’s not really what I want from McFly - and I’m not sure I can see them doing it particularly well either. I shall remain optimistic though!
March 27, 20232 yr Some are saying it's going to be a more 80s inspired album. At any rate, it looks like the album will be called 'Power To Play'.
March 27, 20232 yr Apparently Dougie has said that out of all their albums, this one is most similar to 'Radio:Active'.
March 27, 20232 yr Exciting, 'Radio:Active' was a brilliant album! It also had some heavier than usual (for them) rock songs on it, which fits with that preview clip.
March 28, 20232 yr https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BZN9XN92 Yep, it is indeed titled 'Power to Play'. I imagine we'll get an official announcement later today. Tracklisting: 1. Where Did All the Guitars Go? 2. Land of the Bees 3. Forever's Not Enough 4. God of Rock & Roll 5. I'm Fine 6. Taking Back Tonight 7. Honey I'm Home 8. Route 55 9. Crash 10. Make It Out Alive 11. Shine On
March 28, 20232 yr Author Oooh the cover looks ace. Looks like they'll be going head to head with Niall Horan then - his new album is out the same day as theirs is!
March 29, 20232 yr Okay, I like the sound of the preview! I was never a particular fan of their pop rock
March 29, 20232 yr Never mind! It’s just the album being announced today. “Where Did All the Guitars Go?” is out on Friday. The song title doesn’t fill me with loads of hope lol.
