My favourite photos of Darius are the unofficial calendars ones and other casual ones taken by megham, Paul, Pam and many other fans.

 

I hated the early photo shoots when they tried to squeeze him into teen Idol mould. Neither of his album covers show any of his own personality. I loathe the Live Twice one. There were far better ones from that New York shoot.

Our great Darius would be a shoo-in to play Darius the Great, given his smidgeon of royal Persian blood!

There seemed to be so many more times for taking photos in easier years. I still have a collection from the calendars and the gigs he did

 

Was it you who took the picture of Darius in shirts levees with his jacket slung over his shoulder, megham? That's one of my favourites.

I've got hundreds of photos - any idea of when it was taken? Do yopu mean the one I used for the tickets to the gig he did last year?
