- 090 - Bullet For My Valentine - All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me) (#2)

- 089 - Pipettes - Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me (#9)

- 088 - Alesha Dixon - Lipstick (#3)

Next up we have Bullet For My Valentine. Yes I'm a wrist slitting emo psycho hoobie but I do love a bit of Bullet except I don't have a valentine to aim one at ya know. The 2nd Pipettes song in the countdown was their first ever entry on my chart and former Misteeq Laydee Alesha made headlinesi n 2006 more for the fact that her husband had been shafting that dog Javine. 'Lipstick' deserved much more though. :(

- 097 - Hard-Fi - Better Do Better (#7) - Not bad.

- 096 - Pussycat Dolls - Beep (#6) - Yayayay gooood!!!

- 095 - Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away (#5) - Hmm, her worst.

- 094 - Placebo - Because I Want You (#10) - Not heard.

- 093 - Jack Johnson - Better Together (#12) - Boring.

- 092 - Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend (#5) - Good song.

- 091 - P!nk - Stupid Girls (#4) - Not bad, Who Knew was far better though.

- 090 - Bullet For My Valentine - All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me) (#2) - Not heard.

- 089 - Pipettes - Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me (#9) - I like this lots now. :D

- 088 - Alesha Dixon - Lipstick (#3) - Nooooooooo. :(

- 087 - The Feeling - Never Be Lonely (#6)

- 086 - KT Tunstall - Another Place To Fall (#6)

- 085 - The Zutons - Valerie (#6)

All 3 of these songs made #6 on my chart this year - The Feeling are a great band quite odd I like all 4 of their singles when I usually get tired of this boring repetitive indie $h!te the charts seem to be clogged with nowadays. I never really took much notice of The Zutons until the fabulous 'Valerie' - shame they went $h!t again afterwards. Oh & KT Tunstall with the 2nd best song on her million selling album.

I actually like everything on your list. Except I don't know the Zutons & Bullet For My Valentine. But they were pretty good once I heard it.

- 084 - Less Than Jake - Hopeless Case (#10)

- 083 - Matt Willis - Up All Night (#4)

- 082 - Nylon - Losing A Friend (#6)

- 081 - Fall Out Boy - Dance Dance (#6)

More More More my little spleenage humpers. I borrowed Less Than Jakes' album 'In With The Out Crowd' from a friend this year and have to say it's pretty amazin - 'Hopeless Case'' is my fave .

After Busted's demise last year Matt Willis went solo to poor success bless him - well his voice is horrible anyway but this song was OK. Icelandic pop bints Nylon released this beautiful little ditty back in the summer. I loved it at the time - still like it now - it's pleasant enough but they're just really bland tbh - their followup single didn't really do anything for me.

Not a big Fall Out Boy fa either but do love 'Dance Dance'.

Sunblock got to #1 yeh but only because I liked it for a bit - I found followup 'First Time' a hell of a lot better though.

- 062 - Take That - Patience (#9)

- 061 - Amy Winehouse - Rehab (#10)

Amy Winehouse's 'Rehab' just scraped my top ten in late October but hung around and was still in the top 30 by Christmas. A great song that needs multiple listens for you to really be able to appreciate it. Also Take That's big comeback gave them their first top 10 hit since 'How Deep Is Your Love' reached #3 back in 1996.

Waking Ashland - great song, very moving and beautiful and Ne*Yo I am so sick of you, you little pruney $l*t.

I haven't heard that Charlotte and Nelly Furtado song. Overall quite a few good tunes.

You never watched the show?

It is fab and I think was the only performance on the whole show where Charlotte & the guest had equal vocals - she tends to outshine them all. I was cringing like mad on the Xmas special when she sang with the Sugababes.

The Like & Hush Sound are 2 new acts I discovered this year - both great - The Like very underated -_-.

I'm liking your chart so far Graham, particularly the likes of Hard-Fi and The Killers. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the chart :D

- 050 - Sugababes - Red Dress (#2)

- 049 - Sandi Thom - What If I'm Right (#2)

- 048 - Hi-Tack - Say Say Say (#2)

- 047 - Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On (#3)

- 046 - The Fray - How To Save A Life (#4)

- 045 - Jamelia - Beware Of The Dog (#3)

- 044 - Embrace - Nature's Law (#5)

- 043 - Delta Goodrem - Together We Are One (#2)

- 042 - Kooks - Naive (#4)

- 041 - The Veronicas - 4Ever (#2)

As we near the top 40 we have some great tracks. The Fray shot to #4 in early November with the 'Chasing Cars' esque ' How To Save A Life'. A song that is expected to be released in the UK in Spring 2007. Am I the only one who thinks 'Beware Of The Dog' is a poor SOS? Still a great track though up there with Jamelia's only other decent song 'Thank You'. Delta Goodrem broke her run of Number #1 singles in May 2006 when Charlotte Church's 'Moodswings' held off 'Together We Are One'. All of Delta's previous 7 singles on my chart have entered at #1. And The Veronicas will be huge in 2007 over here mehopes - I got the album on import back in April and '4Ever' is just a perfect slice of P!nk/Clarkson esque rock-pop as is most of their stunning debut.
