I expected heartbreak but WHEW!

I love these (they’re not chart hits though - which I don’t think she’s bothered about anymore) I think ‘Me’ is slightly better than ‘Mine’ but both aren’t too dissimilar to the other and make a heartbreakingly lovely duo!

Can’t wait until midnight to rinse these propery!

Me was nice enough but at this stage Mine is the clear standout for me at this early stage.

Both are good though. Great to have Kelly back though.

Both songs are SO good. I couldn’t understand why she was releasing both song.. but now I get it & so glad she has!

They both feel very 'Move You' from the 'Meaning of Life' era and I absolutely ADORE them.

Idk what it is (maybe it's because I know more about this situation with her than most of her other situations) but these have really hit in the feels, more than usual with her (not that she never does btw - it's just more "obvious" and instead of being relateable, I just want to protect her). They're so gut-wrenching and the gospel choir on 'Me'... WHEW!

These are both absolutely incredible, love both on first listen, probably like ‘Me’ slightly better right now
Both underwhelming on first listen for me
Both underwhelming on first listen for me

Same here. I expected / wanted something much more poppy.

both songs are nice but on first listen not mad about them

So the lyrics to Mine are so sad. Me is definitely the more interesting in terms of drawing you in. I wasn’t expecting her to stick with the Meaning of Life sound - but at least she has finally released! I think I prefer I Dare You, eek!

Me is nice but a bit been here, done that before. It gives me album track vibes (the comparison to Move You is very fitting here x)

Mine on the other hand :cheeseblock: Whew I love it so much, that bridge is EVERYTHING. (My only slight complaint is I kinda wish she went for it even more epically, like Happier Than Ever style, with the bridge repeating and being extended at the end of the song). Actually it reminds me quite a bit of her Happier Than Ever Kellyoke cover. I love this direction and the lyrics of this song are stunning and heartbreaking <3

I am hoping we get at least one My December/Behind These Hazel Eyes rock break-up anthem on the album but we'll see

I'm not super mad on either on first listen but maybe they're growers. Me is a lot bigger sounding, but it's sort of the style of something that could have even appeared on Thankful. Mine feels a little more contemporary and probably has more room to grow.

Can't get enough of either rn. I've been playing them non-stop (with sleep in between ofc ) and they're both very easily repeatable to me.

'Me' really just hits in the feels and I adore the gospel choir in it. 'Mine' is definitely more interesting with it's production though. But both serve emotion and VOCALS. Ahhh.

Brandon is not seeing heaven

I’ve just ordered the Spotify fans first vinyl with just your recommendations so honestly if these two songs are naff I’m blaming you lot!

Is that version available in the UK then? Omg. Do you have a link please? I love that one!

Thanks! I haven’t used Spotify in 6 months as I moved to Apple Music  but I really appreciate the link! Will be cancelling my other order v soon. But I’ll wait to see if Amazon or hmv get signed CDs in or something.

I’m really frustrated at the Non-US pre-order rollout!
